It sounds like the Patriotss are close to a deal with Logan Mankins. Owner Bob Kraft said today "Probably you’ll see our good friend Logan Mankins will be signed up soon, hopefully to be a Patriot for life.”

The Logan Mankins deal is now done. Adam Schefter says it's a six-year deal. No dollar amounts are available yet.

supersix4 likes to pretend lots of receivers have good games against the best defenses, just not Austin. Which completely ignores the fact that there are only a handful of receivers who ever have good games against the best defenses, and nobody is claiming Austin is the second coming of Jerry Rice.
