Since when is that good.
On top of that it was against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

He makes Chad Henne look like Montana.

Do I think he can become a good QB?
Sure, w/ good coaching and proper development.

Was he the Mesiah like some think he will be to the sport?
Not so much, as of right now I'm no more impressed w/ him than Tebow.

With that said it was the first pre-season game which means crap and is irrelevant like the Dolphins.
Did I miss another post or misinterpret your avatar? What do the dolphins havt do with cam Newton and why does a giants fan hate them?

Ya, that's just stupid. I'm 100% for Chris Johnson getting a bigtime raise. In the NFL running backs have VERY short careers. They're effectively over at about 30-31 years old for most backs, so Johnson needs to cash out right now with a new deal. But from the reports I'm seeing he's getting an offer that's very fair. Sounds like he's asking too much.

I called Directv to see if I could lower the NFL ST price ($323) and I was able ro get it lowered to half, I'd much rather pay half the price than the over $300 pricetag for it.

Wait, I thought everything in Canada was more expensive. The regular price for Sunday Ticket here is $200. And there's a digital cable provider that offers NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice and MLB Extra Innings, all for $360($30/month).

Then they end up with a bunch of players with Albert Haynesworth syndrome. I think if I were an owner I'd stick to the backloaded contracts too.

Here in the US NFL ST is high, I even think a little too expensive.

Mcelroy proves that a high Wonderlic score doesn't mean that you have any football sense. He threw a pass at the first down marker. He was already over nine yards past the line of scrimmage.

On the radio today they were talking about his crazy number of pass attempts for a preseason game. He threw the ball 39 times in the first preseason game. At Alabama he never had more than 36 attempts in any one game.

Reminds me of Myron Rolle claiming Christain Ponder has a near genius intellect recently. I was like "and?". Marshaul Faulk has said you can be dumb and still play in the NFL. He was exaggerating to make a point but he did say you couldnt be dumb and play in a system like Mike Martz's.

The worst part of the play is how he took off running. He had no chance to make it to the goal line and the clock was going to run out. Vince Young, who scored extremely poorly on the wonderlic, would have made a much better decision on that play. He should have just thrown it up for grabs. But McElroy did hide behind several former/future 1st round offensive players at Alabama

What stops Vince Young from being a good passing QB is his lack of mental toughness and pocket awareness. In college he made one read and if it wasnt there he tucked it in and ran. He never had good receivers. Look at Vick with good receivers. Kerry Collins rarely faired better.

Vince Young is still an impressive 30-17 as a starter.

Think that was due to a good running game/defense.

The phrase "winning in spite of" comes to mind.

Not only that but to say Vick now only had weapons in Philly isn't exactly true. Did he have as many, no but he had some Warrick Dunn, Peerless Price (who was a pro bowler coming over from the Bills), Alge Crumpler, TJ Duckett wasn't terrible.

And its his work ethic that has made him good nothing more. If VY would have had the insight Vick got prior to joining the NFL things might have been different for him.

It is. And I should have mentioned Nascar Hot Pass is also included in the bundle. There's a downside though; not enough HD channels.

One reason i don't have MLB for fios anymore because with Dtv I got every baseball game in HD where with fios they had like one channel with an HD game on it

Former Bills bust Aaron Maybin is on his way to the Jets facility to take a physical and is expected to sign with the team barring something unforeseen happening.

Lucky Jets... I think he was worth a roster spot.

Ryan Torain (broken hand) has been cleared to take handoffs in running back drills.
That's the good news. The bad news is that Torain still can't participate in full contact practices. In the two weeks that the notoriously slow-healing Torain has been sidelined, Tim Hightower has taken a clear lead in the Redskins backfield. At this point, we're shying away from Torain altogether.
