Jhavid Best taken to the locker room after getting hurt fumbling the ball he tried to make a cut to the right instead of continuing his pre chosen path not sure exactly whats up with him. Colt McCoy looks like a joke, he already got lit up by someone but it wasn't Suh. Stafford is fck'n Ballin and looks like a beast!

Sounds about right. Football really is that dominant in American society. When the NFL was under lockout there was a mass freakout among most sports fans, despite the fact that literally nothing was missed. Right now the NBA is in the middle of a lockout and almost nobody cares or even notices. And even throughout the summer when MLB was the only pro sport in action the NFL lockout still dominated the sports headlines. The NFL is the real "American pastime" these days.

Colt McCoy looked impressive again last night. I've been telling my friends that he'll be a player, I just thought it wouldn't be until next year.

That's pretty much why I subscribed to SI. In Canada, it's all about Hockey. And I got a hell of a deal. Usually we have to pay twice as much to subscribe to an American magazine, but for $30 I got 56 issues and that includes the special issues like the Swimsuit Edition, + a free Dolphins Jacket. And $30 USD = $29 CAD no tax.

And they ship fast, I receive my mag every Tuesday. In comparison, I'm also subscribed to Golfweek magazine, and this week I received the July 15 issue...

Yahoo Sports needs to start up a magazine. I mean they're the ones who break all the sports scandals anyway these days.
