Yea man Elway was a beast! He didnt get a decent running game until Davis. Humphries was alrright. He had some decent recievers in the 80's but nuthin special. The thing with Elway was his clutch and 4th quarter comebacks. Also his improv during games and keeping plays alive. Other have 4th quarter comebacks etc....but just watching Elway was mesmerizing. Dude was a master! Got Em!!

If this were like MLB next week's Super Bowl would be played at Baltimore if the AFC wins the Pro Bowl or San Francisco if the NFC wins today.

Sorry for this sort of off topic post, but where do people usually speak of Super Bowl HDTV deals? It was in this forum where I read that before the SB, it was usually a better time for HDTVs than Black Friday.

To keep it in topic, sorry but I don't want the 49's to win.

Just think, those were the 4th, 5th and 6th NFC QBs, since the original three all had injuries of one kind or another.

And mostly the second string D for the NFC.

the pre-season games are MORE exciting than the pathetic pro bowl. Players just want a free trip to Hawaii with the family and spending money. No players are foolish to injure themselves for next season.

Didn't watch the NFL Pro-Bowl this year.

If Flacco can play the kind of game that he and the Ravens offense and defense did, against the faltering Patriots, I think the Ravens can beat the Niners, even if, the Niners play the way they did against the stumbling Falcons.

I agree; if the 49ers D plays like they did against the Falcons, the Ravens will destroy them.

They already have the yearly awards show on this saturday nite 9:00 cbs.

That's the thing, even though the Pro Bowl is terrible it still gets huge ratings. Last year's Pro Bowl, which was considered by many to be nothing more than a series of 7 on 7 drills, got 12.5 million viewers, while the 2012 MLB All-Star game got 11 million viewers and the 2012 World Series averaged 12.7 million. People can say they hate the Pro Bowl all they want but people watch it, the players enjoy it, and the league makes a lot of money on it. Despite what Goodell says the Pro Bowl isn't going anywhere.
