John Clayton says the Raiders are more interested in Pryor as a receiver than quarterback. He's certainly got the size and speed to be a receiver, so if he can catch and run routes he could be a good pick.

I'm sure someone would of snagged him in the 4th had the Raiders not taken him in the third, i dont know much about college football, so i guess only time will tell, plus Raiders will be using him as wr too, so hes open to other positions, which is a good thing... I wonder if he will appeal his suspension..

He proably had some backroom deal with Goodell. Pryor is allowed to enter the supplemental if he goes along with Goodell's suspension. Not liek he was goign to play in the first 5 games anyway.

Am I the only one that thinks Kellen Moore could be a really good NFL quarterback if he is lucky enough to get the right system? He seems like a great fit for a West Coast offense.

It's possible. He seems like a 3rd-5th rounder at best though. Doubt he goes any higher.

Why does Terrele Pryor warrant so much discussion? He was a huge disappointment in college and will amount to nothing in the NFL. Not to mention his illegal selling of jerseys at Ohio State which got his coach fired and the university in hot water

Give Kellen Moore Jake Locker's arm and you have a pro bowl QB. Size and arm strength are problems with Moore but a NFL team will give him a chance.

49ers-Raiders series to end

The San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders will end their annual exhibition game against each other as a result of the violence at Saturday's game, the San Jose Mercury News reported Monday, citing a high-ranking NFL source.

The source told the newspaper that both the NFL and local police are in favor of ending the preseason rivalry game.

On Monday San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee denounced the violence at the game at Candlestick Park, saying he witnessed some of the brawls himself as he sat in the stands.

Lee said Monday that he watched with horror as he saw several confrontations among fans. He called the behavior irresponsible.

Two men were seriously injured in the violence during and after the preseason game between the rival San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders on Saturday night. One victim was shot several times, while the other was beaten unconscious.

The public information officer at San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center said both patients brought there, a 26-year-old assault victim and a 25-year-old gunshot victim, were upgraded to fair condition Monday.

A number of videos have popped up online showing some of the brawls.

Lee says he's working with police and the 49ers to review the tapes and identify people involved in the fights.

49ers president Jed York said in an appearance on KNBR radio in San Francisco on Monday that there was more security than usual for Saturday's game and there will be even more security for Saturday's game against the Houston Texans.

I keep hearing it was Raider fan shooting another raider fan,But really its gang related. Nothing to do with football.Sad, im glad i didn't go to the game.

Right now I'd definitely give Moore a better chance at being a solid NFL QB than Tebow. When both guys were still in school I probably would have given Tebow a slight edge.

Anyone know if the shooting happened inside the stadium or outside? Hard to tell from the articles I've seen. If it was inside they really should at least do a basic pat down and maybe wand to make sure people aren't armed going into the stadium. Most pro sports events I've been to check for that stuff.

The Browns re-sign Joe Thomas to a 7 year 84 million deal with 44 million guaranteed, I think he is worth it, he has been a great player for the Browns

Good point. I remember a couple of years ago him coming into college ball and the hype surrounding him. But you're right. He's never lived up to that. I couldn't care less what happens with him.

THis is way off. He was nowhere near a huge disappointment. He led the Buckeyes to two BCS bowl wins(well one that actually counted but you know what I mean), Rose/Sugar Bowl MVP and to three conference titles and he got better by his junior year, a 65% completion and 10th best qb rating. I would definitely say that is not a huge disappointment.
