I admit i'm no draft expert, but Lions are very thin with DB's. And had no return game at all this year. Matheu will give you those punt returns. Im just worried if they pass him up in the 2nd he may not be there in the 3rd. Especially when you hear a guy like Jon Gruden praising him and calling him the best db in the draft. There has to be other coaches and gm's who agree with him. And who would of thought EJ Manuel would go that high and be the first qb taken? You just never know

If all of his substance issues have been put to bed for good, I think in the right locker room he has the potential to be an elite playmaker. I'm hoping the Bears have the opportunity to pick him up.
