This Calvin Johnson broken finger story is weird. The writer of a story on Johnson tweeted out that Johnson had played with broken fingers, but nowhere in the actual story does it say that Johnson had broken fingers, with the only comments from Johnson on his fingers being:

"Yeah, I had a couple of things here and there," he said. "Pretty much trying to get them back straight, trying to straighten them things out."

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk said he talked to a Lions source and was told that Johnson did not break any fingers last season.

2014: May 15-17
2015: May 7-9
2016: May 5-7

It sucks pushing the draft back, but I like how each month of the offseason we will have something to look forward to. It'll help make the pain of not having football slightly more tolerable for me.

The NFL owners will vote today on who will host Super Bowl L and Super Bowl LI today. Super Bowl L, which will be held in 2016, is between the 49ers new stadium in Santa Clara and Miami, and it would be a major shock if the 49ers aren't awarded the game. Houston will then face off with whoever doesn't get Super Bowl L for the 2017 game, and Houston will be the favorite over Miami since Miami didn't get public financing for stadium renovations. The winners will be announced at 2:00 ET on the NFL Network.

Our vacation here @ work was changed @ the beginning of the year. We used to have what’s called salary continuation where you could call in 1x every 2-3 months or so and it wouldn’t hurt your attendance.

Now it’s been changed where if you call in, the time comes out of your vacation.

yeah it sucks. oh well. we've been going to training camp in July/Aug. the last 3-4 years so we'll all end up going on a Saturday or Sunday morning then.
