Definitely skip class. I have a Bachelor's in business (Finance) and had to take that stupid communications class. Trust me, I learned not a single thing of lasting importance in that course. Watch football.

lol beyond the basic and advanced concepts you need to complete tasks in the business world you don't need much else (or at least I'm finding out )

Vikings signed SLB Chad Greenway to a new five-year, $41 million contract including $20 million guaranteed.
Greenway was previously under contract through 2011 on a $10.091 million franchise tender. Though he's yet to make a Pro Bowl, the 28-year-old is one of the stoutest and best all-around 4-3 linebackers in football. Pro Football Focus graded Greenway as the fifth best player in the league at the position last season. Also an IDP stud, he's averaging 116 tackles a year over the past four seasons. The Vikings confirmed their high opinion of Greenway by franchising him over both Sidney Rice and Ray Edwards during the winter.

Bears GM Jerry Angelo announced Monday night that the team has shut down contract extension talks with Matt Forte.
Forte will play out his contract year. It's a risky proposition for the 25-year-old back, but he was looking for more than the $15 million guarantee offered. It's a win-win situation for the Bears. They don't have to commit major money to an injury-prone position right now, and can still use the same measuring stick (probably DeAngelo Williams' contract) after the season. Forte's fantasy owners should also be pleased; Motivation won't be a problem.

Not a lot of runningbacks would be behind that porous offensive line, he's still a good back though. I expect either another team will overpay him or he will take the offer the Bears give him after the season.

According to offensive coordinator Joe Philbin and RBs coach Jerry Fontenot, the Packers' plan for Thursday night's opener is to give James Starks and Ryan Grant an equal amount of rushing attempts.
"I'm certainly going try to get each one of those guys an equal amount of opportunities," said Philbin. Added Fontenot, "It's just a matter of getting them comfortable and making sure they've gotten enough reps ... The only way I see them doing that is getting them as equal of work as I possibly can." The Packers spoke all offseason of discovering the "hot hand," and they'll open the season giving both Grant and Starks a chance to establish it. Our long-run money is on Starks. Just don't expect either back to top 15 touches against New Orleans.
