Patrick Peterson is the best all around player in the draft if you ask me. The guy is going to be a superstar in the NFL as long as he stays away from injuries.

I just can't see someone taking a CB number one I mean even guys like Revis, Bailey, and Nnamdi as great as they are wouldn't be worth #1 picks because while they can lock a side of the field down they don't win games.

Looked it up and there's actually never been a CB taken #1 overall. Heck, since 1990 there's been just 5 defensive players taken #1 overall. And of those 5 only Mario Williams has really proven worthy of the pick. I do think Patrick Peterson is the best player in the draft, but I doubt he'll go #1.

It wouldn't suck for the Bills. I'd gladly take Kaepernick, while I don't think he's ever going to be a star quarterback an athlete of his caliber is an asset to any team.

My guess of all the Qb's he's probably the Aaron Rodgers of the bunch and he'll fall, but succeed. |

Ryan Mallett ran a 5.37 40-yard dash today at Arkansas' Pro Day. Mallett didn't run at the combine but his time would have been the slowest of all quarterbacks that ran at the combine. His broad jump and vertical jump both ranked 16 out of the 17 quarterbacks at the combine. I don't know how important this is. Both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are incredibly slow and successful but Brady and Manning also both have strong leadership skills and are clutch late in games, things that Mallett has constantly been criticized for lacking.

I'm not surprised. When he retired he thought he was going to become a media superstar, and flopped spectacularly. He provided no insights and was completely boring, and was eventually let go by NBC. The death blow to his career probably came when he left his wife, who was eight months pregnant with twins, for a 23-year old former NBC intern. I'll be curious how many teams have interest in Barber. Teams usually aren't very interested in running backs in their mid-30s, but Barber hasn't taken any hits for four years so teams could be interested. I'm sure the Giants won't want him back after he criticized the team numerous times during his broadcasting tenure.

The Giants, who still hold Tiki Barber's rights, apparently have no desire to bring back Barber, according to Bob Glauber of Newsday. Barber has one year left on his old contract and is due $4.65 million in the final year of the contract. He will likely end up somewhere for around the veteran minimum.
