Stafford can play. I always liked him when he was drafted by the Lions, but do you guys think it's really a make or break season for him especially if they don't make the playoffs this year?

Bad extension but hes never had a real game around him and is always running for his life.

Joe Flacco inflated the salary structure for QB's it seems. Now a QB a little above average can get arpund $20 mill.

Looks like another Patriot is in trouble:

New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was arrested early Thursday morning in Lincoln, Neb. on suspicion of driving under the influence, the Omaha World-Herald reported.

Police say Dennard was pulled over around 2 a.m. and cited with suspicion of DUI, refusing a chemical test, and a driving infraction, according to the report.

Dennard was placed on two years probation in March after being convicted for felony assault on a police officer in an April 2012 incident, prior to being drafted by the Patriots. He will also serve a 30-day jail sentence beginning Mach 1, 2014 for that conviction.

It's unclear how Thursday's arrest will affect Dennard's probation status or his delayed jail sentence.

I was in favor of the Patriots drafting Dennard because he was a second or third round talent that they were able to get in the seventh round, and he looked good as a rookie, but they should just cut him at this point and show they have zero tolerance for any crimes right now. I hope a judge declares he violated his probation and throws him in prison immediately.

I am still happy with the production we got out of him at the 7th round level...but he will be gone here very soon. NFL players aren't very smart....at all

And that got us what 4 wins last year with a now 75 million dollar QB ok yeah he is so worth it. The I wanna go back in thanksgiving day heroics are long gone now. Its win or GTFO at this point. Playoffs with wins in consecutive seasons or GTFO im tired of this BS with this team.

The second Denver Broncos executive to be arrested for a DUI might have had the highest BAC I've seen to date at .246. I think that narrowly beats Blackmon's BAC from last year. That's a LOT of drinking. I'd imagine this guy will be fired soon as he's probably facing some jail time considering he hit a police car and injured an officer.

Report: Matt Russell’s BAC was 0.246 percent

As the Broncos deal with a flood of bad P.R. coming from a pair of front-office drunk-driving arrests, it has gotten a little worse.

According to ABC 7 in Denver, director of player personnel Matt Russell’s blood had an alcohol concentration of 0.246 percent when measured after his recent DUI arrest. The legal limit is 0.08 percent

Russell allegedly crashed into the rear of a patrol car at an estimated speed of 40 miles per hour. The officer had pulled over to allow Russell’s Toyota Tundra pickup truck to pass, so that the officer could then pull Russell’s vehicle over. The officer suffered a cut on his arm, as well as neck and back pain.

According to the officer’s report, Russell “had no recollection of the accident,” and Russell told the officer that he had consumed “two green drinks.” A half-empty fifth of peppermint schnapps was retrieved from the truck.

Earlier, Russell had struck another car. He had stopped and exchanged insurance information with the other driver. After that, someone called an anonymous hotline and reported a drunk driver.

NFL players have to be some of dumbest in any sport, I mean someone is getting arrested every other week
