So apparently the Bucs traded Eric Wright to the 49ers after his DWI and when the 49ers found out they flunked him on his physical and sent him back, then the Bucs cut him outright.

Or he just failed...

Per a league source with knowledge of the discussions, the Buccaneers disclosed the July 12 arrest for suspicion of DUI during trade talks with the 49ers.

So the Titans over/under win total is set at 6.5

I know we've always had massive haters, but damn...

We had what I'd consider our worst season as the Titans, but still managed 6 wins. Yet with all the additions we've made this offseason we can't at least reach 7-9??? Gotta take over on this crap all day. Not even being a homer.

I'd say that's about as bad as we can do.

People don't realize that Locker's career stats before he separated his shoulder were actually pretty good and he had a 5/1 TD/INT ratio. Also at least half the burden of his poor performance fell on our awful OL which endured more injuries than any other team. We added Levitre (best OL in free agency) and drafted Warmack (best OL in draft). The addition of Delanie Walker will go a long way as well. Jared Cook is by far the worst blocking TE in the league. Literally 96% of the time he was on the field, we passed the ball. I'm not making that number up... He made our offense incredibly predictable. Walker is far more versatile and will help immensely in the running game.

I'm not saying I expect Locker to light it up, but he'll be a much improved QB.

Also, for those who say he's inaccurate, I feel like they just look at his stats. Yet he has a higher completion percentage than Andrew Luck and a better passer rating.

Lastly, our defense has been one of the youngest in the league for the past couple years. We have some guys who really came on towards the end of the season (Brown and Ayers), and if McCarthy can stay healthy, we'll have a hell of a LB corps.

Gregg Williams + Bernard Pollard = win. 7 wins minimum. I'll predict 8-8 because this team has let me down too many times, but I'm honestly hoping to sneak into the playoffs, and I think it's possible in the weak AFC.

this might be the 1st time in 3 years that we don't go to training camp for a day.

Not to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but better stats than Luck isn't saying much.

I think people are giving him the benefit of the doubt because he's new, but Luck had better ramp up completion % fast, and bring his turnover rate way down, or he'll just be another casualty of the hype parade. In his first season he was Romo with a much worse completion %. That's not the guy someone wants to be long term.

Not to mention he's replacing one of the greatest QBs of all-time and coming off a play-off rookie season, he'll probably get a pass this season if they miss the play-offs unless it's the kind of 2-4 win season I expected them to have last year. I just don't see the incredible can't-miss prospect that everybody thought was better than RGIII in the kid but maybe I'm missing something.

I think the Titans do look much improved compared to last season.

And having Bernard Pollard means the other team with suffer some injuries.

Fortunately the Patriots don't play the Titans this year. That man has injured Patriots as a member of 3 different teams.

Peyton Manning had 26 TD/28 Int, 71 QB rating with a 56.7% comp rate his rookie year. And it's not like Peyton had nobody around him. Marshall Faulk was in Indy his rookie year, as well as a young Marvin Harrison.

Typically superstar QB's thrown in a starter from day 1 don't see great numbers until at least year 2, sometimes year 3.

not just that but luck does have real s* to work with. Even though I think RG3 has an equal amount of crap around him and it just gets masked by that zone blocking and obscure 1000 yard backs that shanny is known for.
