In the NFL there aren't any mega homers..but you can tell who sides with who ( DD sucks on mannings you know what as do most announcers) where as NHL it's all hometown guys

how does rex ryan have a job after tonight? Leaving his starting QB in in the 4th only to get hurt and it didn't look good. it's amazing to watch how bad he is as a coach. One of the worst decisions i have seen by a head coach

It's clear Geno Smith getting first team reps this week, and starting the game was from the powers above Rex. This whole situation is out of his hands.

Geno is a rookie. Sanchez sucks..but gives the jets the best possible chance to win (even if a tiny chance). So you put that guy out there behind your 2nd OL and he gets hurt and from his presser...he went insane so i think he knows how bad it is....

Man I love what I saw from my guys tonight.

Locker was money, CJ looked great, our DL looked great. It may just be preseason, but holding the Falcons' starting offense to 6 points in the first half is impressive either way.

5 sacks on Ryan. SIIIIICK... Our entire starting LB corps sat out tonight too. I can only imagine if Ayers and Brown had been out there.

I saw it. Wasn't really that much of a meltdown. He was just pissed and got pissed off at reporters asking him the same questions he answered. Not sure what the big deal is. Not quite the Jim Mora Sr. playoffs moment.

As for the second part of my question what's up with the bashing of NY teams considering you list NYC as your location.

hometown sports loyalties are irrational

yeah it wasn't much but for a preseason game it was a meltdown
