Our announcers are Eddie George, Keith Bulluck (not anymore, I guess), and some local chode.

Of course they're gonna be hyping the team up. I rarely put much stock into preseason, but the third game is the most important and the fact of the matter is we held a top 5 team to 6 points in the first half, Locker was 11/13 on his throws, and we sacked Ryan 5 times. That's all very positive stuff. They may have been missing Roddy White, but we were missing our entire starting LB corps.

I almost had Ridley fall to me at #24...but i will take AP and Jones-Drew as my RBs
I think Veeren finishes with more Fantasy Points than Ridley this season

Vereen is my back up for AP and Jones-Drew. Vereen will have a lot..but idk if it will rival Ridleys 1,400-1,500 yards and 13 or so TDs

I think it worked out pretty good. I got 3 number 1 wrs on their teams.. and I'm banking on Bernard to win the starting job at some point this year over the law firm.. I also have a feeling Antonio Brown and De Jackson will have 1000 yd 8 plus td years this season.. especially with no Wallace or Maclin for them to worry about
I'm not putting much stock into Jackson and Brown this season. I do think Jackson bounces back and has a nice year under Chip Kelly, but I wouldn't take him until the 8th or so. As for Brown, I wouldn't take him at all... I'd rather have Emmanuel Sanders in the 11th-12th. I was a Brown fan last year since Wallace was going to get all the attention. Now defenses will be more focused on Brown and he's not good enough to be a #1 IMO. This will open things up for Sanders.

I don't want to tell you how to run your team, and I like several of your players, but I don't like the way you drafted. Maybe if I knew what players were available when you picked, I'd get a better feel for it. Witten in the 3rd and Brown in the 4th seem like huge reaches though IMO.

I love Bernard, but I am targeting him as a flex player only. I don't want him to be my starter on week 1. That's too risky.

Ridley isn't going to get anywhere close to that this season.. I say he gets around 1100yds 9 TDs.. I think Blount takes away some of his carries in the running game (if they don't cut him, which I don't see them doing) and Veeren will be in on 3rd downs

I'm also skeptical of Ridley this year because I like Vereen'a value better. Ridley goes in the 2nd every time. Vereen goes in the 7th at the earliest.

But yea, I don't see anyway Vereen ends up with more points than Ridley, barring injury.

I'd gladly take Ridley as my RB2 and come back and look for guys like Bernard, Vereen, Ball, Mathews (as much as I hate him), etc in the 7th-8th.

The Pats are going to be even more reliant on the running game this year, so I don't see Ridley's numbers taking that big of a drop.

if you ever do a 14 team league you're drafting skills will be challenged, oh and when you win over 10 gs let me know I have been to the championship 3 out of the past 4 years in my league and all 14 of us have been doing this for 8 years so..

Witten had last year 150 targets and 110 catches for 1039 yds and 3 tds. Dallas has already said they will be focusing on him in the redzone more this season.. which they didn't do at all last year.. Roddy White had 143 targets 92 catches and 1351 yds 7 tds, Antonio Brown had 106 targets for 66 catches 787 yds and 5 tds with big Ben injured for a bunch of games last season.. De Jack with strive in Chips offense and I will be happy with his production every week this year, he has shined in preseason and camp has been raving about his new attitude and work ethic.. I'm not worried at all a.. Witten was 8th last year in the league in targets.. just an FYI

I used to do 14 man leagues and won them 2/3 times that we did them (10+ wins every season), so... lol

I've been doing FF since 2002 when Shaun Alexander and Clinton Portis were my homeboys.

I decided to stop doing the 14 man league due to the fact that I could never get enough participation/interest in my primary league. There was always that one guy who didn't try.

I like Witten, but you took him at Round 3, Pick 1... that's way too early IMO. I guess you know your league better than I would, but I feel like he would've been there when it came back to you at Round 4, Pick 14.

Yea, I'm not taking a TE until round 6 or later regardless.

If one of Gronk, Witten, Gonzo, Davis falls to me in the 6th I'll take them. Otherwise, I will wait until round 9 or so and grab me a Finley, Gates, Daniels, Rudolph. If they're all gone, I'll wait a few more rounds for Cameron, Myers, Housler, etc.

Not going to waste my time with Graham in the 2nd as awesome as he may be.

I looked at Witten like a WR, he is basically a WR and a top one, Jimmy Graham went in rd. 2.. Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, Julio Jones, Jimmy Graham, Marshall, AJ Green.. were all gone for WRs when I was up.. I took Roddy White than Witten.. than Dem. Thomas went ( don't like him this year because Peyton has to many weapons), Larry Fitz I thought about but figured Romo will get the ball to Witten more than Palmer will for Fitz, D Bowe (too inconsistent) Andre Johnson (didn't want the headache all yr with his injuries) Wes Welker (same reason I stood away from Thomas). Amendola (injryu prone always) Reggie Wayne (witten and white will finish higher).. now after these guys the WRs that went were Cobb, Cruz, Colston, Jackson, Hilton, Decker, T. Smith, Nicks, Gronkow, Wallace, Tony G, then I took Ant. Brown.. If Gronk was healthy I would have chose him over Witten, I thought about V.Jackson but I also think Witten and White will finish higher.

If Rodgers isn't one of your top 4 QBs, you might want to just call the old folks home now.

Random side note here... I can't remember who said it or what page it was on, and I don't feel like digging for it right now, but...

I read someone on here saying that his QB had by far the most points on his fantasy team. Lol durr... that's usually how it goes. What that guy did not understand is that instead of getting Rodgers in the 1st, you could get the likes of Brady, Ryan, Kaepernick, Wilson, Stafford, RG3, Luck, and Romo in the 5th and beyond. Sure, Rodgers will outscore them. RB is always, always, always more important than QB.

QB is so deep - especially this year. RB is never deep. Don't ever take a QB over a RB in the 1st round. 9 times out of 10 you will lose your league. In fact, you'll likely be one of your league's bottom feeders.

I agree with most of what you said, but WR is more important. I always feel it's necessary to have two RBs and two WRs before you take a TE. Of the WRs you said were gone when you had your 2nd pick, Roddy probably would've been my #1 on the board as well. But I think you should've gone RB/WR or vice versa (since you had back-to-backs) rather than WR/TE.

I think Vincent Jackson has a monster year. He already had a very good year last season (1300 yards, 8 TDs). He's probably the one guy I'm hoping falls to me late in the 3rd or early in the 4th depending on where I pick. Love Torrey Smith as well. He's Flacco's only legit target, and while I've said Flacco is as average as they come, he can throw the football and Smith will top 1000 yards and 8+ TDs.

And despite what you said about Peyton and the Broncos having too many weapons (and that's true), I still like all three of their WRs - assuming they're taken in the right spots. I would take Thomas in the 3rd in a heartbeat. I would take Welker or Decker in the 5th or 6th - and yes, they do fall that far now. The key is to not have more than one of them though, of course.

Okay, so you are the guy I was referring to in my above post. lol

The top 10 QBs will basically always end up with the most points on your team. What you're not understanding is the fact that you can still grab a top 10 QB in the later rounds. Don't waste a 1st (or 2nd or 3rd) round pick on a QB. You will miss out on RBs badly and regret it. I've been greedy before and gone with a QB in the 1st round... just a terrible idea.

5th round is where to take QBs this year. You can take it or leave it, but that's the truth.
