hmm.... on the Redzone channel is "fantasy football live" something everyone can see / watch? is this like a free weekend or what? because i know i'm not paying for these special channels, but shockingly enough it's airing and i'm viewing it. is that weird?

hopefully at noon it stays on

I disagree. It's the very best way to watch NFL football. They do a remarkable job of jumping from game to game so you don't miss anything. It's as if you are watching each and every game and not missing anything.

It's not highlights though, it's live games. Everytime a team gets in the redzone they switch to live coverage of that game, and if multiple teams are in the redzone they do a split-screen. Last year was the first year my cable company offered the channel and it's awesome, definitely worth the $44.99 for the season I paid.

That's sweet! is it still $44.99 or a bit more this year? hmm... that's not a bad price at all for a season!

btw: i wish i could see the Bengals vs Browns game. may sound odd, but seeing McCoy vs Dalton seems like it could be fun. Browns seem like a very improved team, and Bengals seem like they are walking into a 3-13 year, but should show flashes with the young talent they have.

It was $44.99 for me because my cable company had a $5 discount if you signed up by today, but I think most companies charge $49.99.

haha, folks on Redzone channel (random fantasy football guys lol) were just talking about the Vikings / Chargers game and they were both like, "Rivers is gonna have 300 yards passing by halftime! Vikings D is terrible!" lol which it is.

hopefully Peterson can have another 295-yard rushing day

i could very easily see that. if they come out with the same enthusiasm and fire they did last year against the Colts (week 1 performance!) then they should dominate. "SHOULD" being the key word

Smith is in a race to get back earlier than expected. If he can't go, developmental prospect Jermey Parnell will draw the start at right tackle. Parnell is highly athletic as a former college basketball player at Ole Miss, but lacks ideal weight and experience. It's perhaps worth noting that Bryan Broaddus of ESPN Dallas predicted Saturday that Smith would start.
