Wonder how you'll feel when in 2017, the Jets are in the exact same position--cheering for Geno's demise as Woody Johnson continues to run the team into the ground and Gang Green followers are asking for the coach's head.

Hard not to be when all he has done is embarrass the team over the last couple of years.
So you think he went into any said game wanting to play poorly.

I can appreciate wanting to move on to other things, but Jets fans are p***ing on themselves with joy. I could see it if they were a successful franchise and Sanchez had goofed up things for them. But that team as always been a dumpster fire. Titans haven't been relevant since they locked out Steve McNair of their training facilities.

I just find the whole HE'S HURT, HE'S GONE, YAY! mentality to be rather joyless considering that this is supposed to be about entertainment for us. It's akin to wishing illness on an actor for being in a bad movie. What's the point?

ha but I'm at the bars watching them every weekend! I'm forced to be drunk by half time because how horrible they have been, this past week though was pretty sober and shocked! and this week I will probably not even get a buzz, they are playing the Jags. might as well save myself from a Monday morning work hangover

. He's been a complete disaster for our team the past few years. If you were a real Jets fan you would understand how bad he has been. It's been brutal watching games knowing your defense will hold but your offense is inept. I wanted him off my team after last year, but Tanny was an idiot and had already signed him to an extension (WTF!) and that's probably why Idzik is our new GM. Plus the incessant need for Rex to ride with him until they were both let go was maddening. Since he is now no longer able to compete this year, the Jets and their fans can finally move on from the guy. Without a trip to the IR which is now inevitable, there was always a chance for him to start because of Rex's eternal love for him. I certainly didn't want that. Hence why I am happy that we can finally move on. It sucks to be by injury. I would have preferred an outright release, but this is what happened. Don't confuse my feelings about finally being able to move on with my attitude to him injuring himself.

of course, I go to almost every Ranger/ Penguin game at the Garden and Isles/Penguin game at the Coliseum.. honestly bot stadiums are shitholes but I always have more fun at the Coliseum because the tailgates are like football games, The Garden should be sick in a few years when they finish the renovations inside. and the Islanders will be moving to Brooklyn.. ha yea I'm always getting into arguments with sports, the majority of my friends are NY sport teams fan.. interesting enough though my old man is a Chiefs fan, my brother is a Cowboys for football, but they both like the Islanders, Knicks and Mets

The Garden has nostalgia and I love going there. It's MSG. It's like the Wrigley of Basketball. There is so much history in that building. Not everyplace has to have all the bells and whistles. Although I have never been to New Yankee Stadium, I know I won't like it as much as Old Yankee Stadium.

I agree somewhat.. I have been to both new and old yankee Stadium, and it is a different feel for sure! same with the Mets new and old.. the Mets new stadium though is a HUGE upgrade and much more enjoyable than Shea was..I just always get a kick when opposing teams say how much of a shithole the garden is when they are done playing there. It will be sick though when its done, they ain't touching the outside, just cleaning up the inside.. skybox seats are going to be in the middle level! which is awesome when corporate box time comes around but the early blueprints I saw look sweet and I can't wait to watch a game there

I'm not a Jets fan. My apologies, that wasn't the picture I meant to paint.

I was at MSG for the Rangers home opener in '06 against the Caps (Shanny got his 600th). I was with some buddies but spent the night talking to a guy from Staten Island and a guy from Queens. We were in the upper bowl with the leather lungs and it was like home....I "F'n" LOVE the place.
