This seriously isn't a boastful prediction. I am very fair with my picks. I picked us to win by 10 in Pittsburgh (won by 7). I picked us to lose by 7 in Houston (lost by 6). I changed my mind last minute today and put some faith in my team, picking us to win by 3 (won by 3).

The Jets defense is very good. I agree... but that offense is pretty weak to say the least.

You guys are never gonna let me live that one down... even though you all completely misunderstood my point. I would've made the same comparison for Geno... all I meant was that it's just too early to write off a QB who hasn't been THAT bad. Idk how many times I have to state this, but I am not really a Locker supporter. He's too inconsistent, and he misses wide open guys every game. However, I have to hold on hope that he improves and becomes a serviceable QB. That's all we need right now.

We've already faced two top 10 defenses, so I'm not too worried about it. Still no turnovers. Locker didn't turn it over to you guys last year either.

I'm definitely surprised by the Jets at this point. I figured they'd be 0-3 (or 1-2 at best), but we're better than the Bucs and Bills.

I'm just busting your balls about the Locker thing lol hence the smilie. You guys have looked good too. But I wouldn't consider any of the defenses you faced as top 10. Not this year.

Just making sure I make myself clear!

I was referring to the fact that the Steelers and Texans are both currently top 10 defenses, statistically. Titans and Jets are also ranked in the top 10, so it could be another 13-10 type game.

Gregg Williams has made a huge difference on our team. Gotta keep the Bounty dude around for as long as possible.

I'm a die hard Ravens fan, so naturally I hate the Steelers. But damn if I don't respect them.

Yeah, the Steelers have some major problems. They are already over next year's project salary cap because for years they've been restructuring contracts and pushing money into future years and at some point that's going to come back and bite them in the a$$. They're likely going to have to release some decent players and have a lot of dead money on next year's cap, and it's going to be very difficult for them to sign any significant free agents or keep their own players who are due to be unrestricted free agents, namely Emmanuel Sanders. Some of the veterans with huge cap numbers that are going to have to take a pay cut, restructure their deals, or get released include Heath Miller, Lawrence Timmons, Ike Taylor, Troy Polamalu, and LaMarr Woodley. They're going to have to sign Roethlisberger to a contract extension because his cap number is going to be almost $19 million and they won't really be able to restructure anymore since his deal will only have 2 years left on it.

They said the same thing about the team in 2000. This is the first time I felt like the magement has made all the wrong moves like bringing in Todd Hayley, letting Wallace go, Medenhall. On top of that look at all the players we lost for the season I even forgot we lost Burress before the season started, so we are thin pretty much everywhere. If magement gets there shit together we will be find sooner then later. Only time will tell.

One of the first years in a long time where I'm eager for our game against the Steelers. Hopefully we keep the pressure on Rothlisberger and can make things happen with the defense..... Josh Gordon looked GREAT yesterday too.
