Ya, but that's true of many pro sports franchises. Since just about every pro sports team is located in a major metro area they tend by nature to be located in very rough inner-city neighborhoods.

Braves are near a rough area (though it's been cleaned up since shortly before the Olympics), but Falcons and Hawks are in a mostly business area of downtown. Right across the street from the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Centennial Olympic Park and the CNN offices. Soon, the College Football Hall of Fame will join the area.

Think the Raiders will reopen talks of moving into the Levi Stadium with the 49ers after the very late start this week due to sharing their stadium with a baseball team?

Santa Clara seems like a really quiet place. They fly me to San Fran for business a few times a year and my wife and I have hung out there a couple of times. Definitely a calmer, more classy area than where Candlestick is.

I've only been to one NFL game but a nice brawl did break out in the stands right near me. It was at Fedex Field. Redskins game.

Is the new Turner Field near where the old one was? Only time I ever went to a few Braves games was as a kid in the early-90's at the old stadium and I remember it being in a horrible area. My parents paid someone (probably homeless) just to keep an eye on the car so nobody would vandalize it.

It is in the same location, but the city of Atlanta came through around 95 in preparation for the Olympics and claimed imminent domain to reclaim a lot of the impoverished houses in the immediate area and sold it off later to some investors in affordable (but not cheap) townhomes. Now, a few blocks away things can get rough again, but it's much better at Turner Field than it ever was at Atlanta-Fulton County. My parents and I actually got robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot there once.

Depends where you live. If you live in the South Bay, you'll love it. Central Bay won't care.

It's SF... So you'll need to be watching your back for more than one reason.

Watch out for your cornhole, man.
