I wanted us to sign Brandon Carr in the 2012 offseason, so I'm a fan of his.

But has he really played well enough to be considered top 10 so far this season? I wouldn't know, but I thought the Cowboys' pass defense was pretty bad, so I just assumed he wasn't doing that well.

That's mostly the linebackers and safeties and Claiborne getting torched, he and Scandrick have been good for the most part this season, except for the last game, even Carr got torched a couple times in that one.

ATV has always been very underrated. He's not your prototypical starting CB because he's small and not that fast, but his instincts are incredible and he's a great tackler.

And not that this matters, but he's probably the second smartest guy on our team behind Fitzpatrick.

His strip 6 on Pettigrew last year was awesome.

Tillman has been a beast for years in the NFL.. he produces at high levels every season.. Jennings led the league last season in ints with 8.. he already is playing lights out again.. Mathieu is a rookie honey badger.. the kid is the truth, he slipped on draft day because of his off field issues.. he is the true definition of a ball hawk, and I love watching this kid play.

I like Carr, I just don't think he is top 10 material just yet.. he is in the top 20 though for sure

NFC North looks like a really tough division with at least one wild card team coming out of it

The worst division is the NFC East, Eagles and Giants defenses giving up over 34ppg

Carr is not that good right now...just outside top 10



I am not sure what the pats will do with Talib. He is the top 3 if not #1 CB right now in the NFL. But given the entire hernandez situation..i am not sure they will pay him even though right now the D can't live without him. He is winning us games alone

ehh definitely not the #1 CB right now.. Peterson, Haden and Sherman have him beat, yes he is playing great football and I currently have him 4th, but would never think about putting him first

Mathieu was taken one pick before us... I wanted him right there.

I saw that, and that's a great hustle play, but that's all I've seen from him so far. I obviously know a lot about Tillman/Jennings from last year, but I haven't seen much from them this year (haven't watched much of the Bears outside of highlights).

Maybe they did move Smith to CB, but that doesn't seem wise to me with the way he played as a safety last year. Granted the Vikings CBs are pretty bad (as far as I know) outside of Rhodes - who I was a fan of.

Speaking of Jared Cook... I tried telling everyone he isn't that good and that week 1 was a fluke. Yep. Most overpaid TE in the league. And Finnegan is the most overpaid CB in the league.

Fisher, you sure know how to rebuild a team, you bum. That dude literally took all his scrub coaches from the Titans and brought them with him, and he took a lot of former Titans players who were either overrated and/or not worth the money. He has no chance at ever sniffing a Super Bowl. The game has passed him by, and if he couldn't win a ring with our 1999, 2000, 2003, and 2008 teams he never will. He's a good player motivator, and that's it. Sorry... had to rant about Fisher.

Sherman is clearly the best CB in the league followed by Haden IMO.

I just love my boy ATV... I'm glad they gave him AFC Defensive Player of the Week. He earned it.

Mathieu has 28 Tkles 1 FF 1 Int and 2 Pass Def.
Jennings has 13 Tkles 1 FF 1 FR 1 Int and 3 Pass Def.
Tillman has 13 Tkles 1 FF 2 Int and 3 Pass Def.

as you can see most QBs tend to stay away from Jennings and Tillman.. The Rookie Mathieu still has to prove himself, he is getting a ton of notice, currently leads the team in tackles as a CB. and you're right they didn't move Smith to CB, I know I saw him covering Brown last game in London, maybe it was just for a few plays, either way still a great player.. ha you hate Fish and anything he does

For what it's worth, Revis has 15 Tkles 1 FF 1 Int and 4 Pass Def. Oh and this is all while he's coming back from an ACL tear.

Brent Grimes was the #1 rated CB after 3 weeks according to PFF, coming back from an Achilles tendon rupture.

I've been wondering how the Talib situation will play out as well. The Pats are going to want to structure a deal that protects them so if Talib screws up they can get out of it easily, but if Talib is the #1 CB in free agency he might not agree to that. I don't see Talib reacting well if he gets the franchise tag and I think he'd potentially hold out into the season. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
