The season is still young. The Bills offense is going to get better and better as the season goes on, he should be a difference maker for you down the stretch.

Wallace is still complaining about his role with MIA. They are 3-1. So happy he went to MIA so they can deal with that diva

Jimmy Graham won NFC Player of the Month, the first tight end to win the award since it was introduced in 1986. The Saints might end up regretting not locking Graham up with a contract extension after last season or even the season before, because if he stays healthy he's going to want a monster contract. While the Saints will likely use the franchise tag on Graham he can argue that he should receive the tag not as a tight end but rather as a receiver, because he lines up more often up as a receiver than tight end. The difference in the tags is significant, as last year the receiver tag was worth $4.5 million more than the tight end tag. The Saints are already over next year's projected cap due largely to the high cap numbers of Drew Brees, Jahri Evans, Ben Grubbs, and Marques Colston so they're going to have their work cut out to keep Graham and stay under the cap.

Bucs released QB Josh Freeman.
The Bucs predictably couldn't find a trade partner after napalming what little value their former starting quarterback had. Freeman has roughly $6.25 million remaining on his 2013 salary, which the Bucs must pay in full. Freeman's play had sunk to extreme lows before his benching — a 45.7 completion percentage, 6.07 YPA, 59.3 QB rating — but he's shown enough throughout his inconsistent career to earn a second chance in relatively short order, likely some time over the next 72 hours. Aside from the usual suspects like Jacksonville and Cleveland — who may not even want to try to upgrade at quarterback as they jockey for draft position — Minnesota, Tennessee, Oakland and the Jets are all possible landing spots. Cincinnati and Arizona could be dark-horse candidates. Wherever Freeman lands, he's highly unlikely to be installed as the immediate starter.

0-4 with a team with a decent amount of talent. Reminds me of KC of last year. They just need a coach and a QB like the Chiefs did.

Oh yeah he's out of there, he'll be lucky to last to the end of the season.

+1. It makes the most sense, the other teams that need a QB are not really trying to win this season no matter what they say.

Schiano was a decent college coach, but you can't treat grown men like a bunch of kids. They will rebel every time.

I don't see Freeman going to the Jets. I think the Jets are all in on Geno Smith and don't want to bring in another QB who could make him think his job is in jeopardy (like they did last year with Tebow). I could see Freeman potentially going to Tennessee if Fitzpatrick looks bad this week or possibly not playing for a while to see if a starting QB gets injured.

since the papers in NY are already begging for a QB change I can't see them not giving it a thought. And its not like the Jets are planning to have Smith as their franchise QB, if any team thought he would be a starting QB in the NFL he would have went first round.. He pretty much fell onto the jets lap and they decided to take a shot on him, smart move because if it doesn't work out they really don't lose all that much, and if it does work out then they got a nice 2nd pick.. Tenn. is an obvious choice with the injury to Locker, but time will tell.

The Patriots released tight end Zach Sudfeld. In the preseason it looked like Sudfeld was going to be a huge receiving threat and many (myself included) thought he'd be able to do an adequate job replacing Gronk as a red zone target. I'm hoping this release means that Gronk is close to being healthy and will be playing on Sunday. It's likely the Pats will sign Sudfeld to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

He's not going to the Jets lol. They are seeing what they have in Geno over the course of a season. If they don't like what they see in him, I can see them trying to nab one of the top QB prospects in next year's draft. They can do this because unlike EJ Geno was a 2nd rd pick and the financial obligations to him are not close to what it would be if he was a 1st rd pick.

Tell that to Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick, and damn near Aaron Rodgers.

its going to get ugly in NY for a while.. they are going to be going on a 6 game losing streak.. When Geno starts being Geno they will be sending him to the bench and they have no back up with Sanchez injured.. I can honestly see them giving Freeman a call.. but he probably wont be out there for long it Fitz shits the bed in Tenn.

these guys weren't looked at as immediate starters in the NFL for their rookie seasons.. Geno Smith was projected to be the first QB taken off the board and start right away.. horrible comparison
