And you think that Geno was looked at as an immediate starter

Just because you are "projected" to be the first QB taken in a weak draft class doesn't mean that you are viewed to start right away.

huh? what do you mean that's not what I wrote, I think I know what I wrote; I wrote it.. Yes Geno was suppose to be an immediate starter come draft day.. Teams looked else where because they had that feeling he isn't a starter in the NFL, and as you can see in 4 games this year. he isn't, I honestly don't see him getting any better.. and the time the Jets get good, it's going to be to late for him and they would have moved on to a new QB.. the situation reminds me of Carr, and Harrington..

and of course it does mean you're viewed as a starter.. if a team needs a QB they take the best in the draft and start them right away to fill that void..

Josh Freeman is good enough at minimum for a backup slot on some teams

but he needs to be a couple months removed from this ugly mess cause teams want to wait for it to cool down

There are far more cases where they hold a clipboard than see the field from day one
