now we just need Bruce Smith and Trotter and it will be a Redskins failed greatest hits.

Roughly 0%. He's got to focus on his own free agents like Cullen Jenkins, James Jones, Mason Crosby, Daryn Colledge, as well as reworking A.J. Hawk's contract. The Packers also already have too much money tied up in their defensive backfield with Charles Woodson, Nick Collins, and Tramon Williams contracts to go after another big money guy.

Knowing Thompson and how he hates to sign free agents, I don’t expect him to make a run @ anyone besides guys on our own team anyway.

I’m personally of the opinion that he reworks hawk’s deal and let’s Barnett go next year when he’s a FA.

Hawk may not be what u’d expect from a #1 pick, but he’s consistent and isn’t hurt as much as Barnett has been the last couple of years.

Mel Kiper did a chat yesterday and one of the questions was about what he thought of Casey Matthews (Clay's brother) and where he thought he'd get drafted. Kiper's response was:
Casey is an ILB. He projects not nearly as high as Clay. Clay was a first round pick. Casey's not nearly as high and I think he's a Day 3 guy. He'll be helped by the fact that this is a very mediocre ILB group.
