Looks like we will have our hands full in STL next week after all. Fisher will want revenge for sure. This is a must win for us for so many reasons. So many of our fans are stupid and are still butthurt we fired Fisher. If we lose to Fisher, I'll never hear the end of it.

Depresses me to watch the Rams get so much pressure with just a 4 man rush. We got absolutely no pressure on Wilson even when we sent 5-6. Our DL (outside of Casey) is garbage.

CJ... I swear to God. Step your ass up this week because we're going to need you.

True... And I expect the Chiefs to fall behind quick.

You can't beat the Broncos with "good D".

You have to have all-time, best ever type D. They scored 33 points in their loss...and Kansas City has yet to score more than 31 points this season.

If it was in the playoffs and cold weather, then I could see KC beating Denver.

Otherwise I still think Denver will be 2-0 against KC.

It bears mentioning, Kansas City has yet to play a team who has a winning record through 8 weeks.

Doesnt mean anything.

2 years ago the patriots didnt beat a team who had a winning record the entire season either yet they made it all the way to the super bowl.

Let the tony G Trade Rumors heat up

Quote:

Speaking late Monday night, Tony Gonzalez said he's open to a trade out of Atlanta.

Gonzalez was very clear that he won't ask for a trade, but said he would be OK if the 2-5 Falcons could ship him to a contender while getting a future asset. He added that he could see how that would be a "respectful" move from the organization considering he's chasing a ring and is in the final season of his career. However, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday morning that the Falcons stance "has not changed" and they are still saying that they won't trade Gonzalez by today's 4pm ET deadline. A team like the Chiefs would be wise to at least call Thomas Dimitroff and see what's what.

If they trade, they better get at least a 2nd rounder, which is what they gave the Chiefs for him.

No way any team would give up a 2nd rounder for a player that is 100% set on retiring after the season. Teams value their draft picks too much to give up a lot on a half-season rental.

The Patroits were pretty routinely scoring 35+ along the way. Talk to me when KC gets there once.

Which is why the Falcons should keep him.

You mentioned the teams they played which is just a set schedule.

It doesnt have anything to do with the scoring thats a seperate issue.

Seahawks and Vikings working on 11th hour trade for Jared Allen, wonder what Seattle would send Minnesota, their back-up QB and a draft pick perhaps?

Stop being a homer. Let the guy go to a contender so he might have a chance to win a SB. Atlanta isn't going anywhere this year.

Damn that would make the Seahawks awesome on D. With one of the best secondary's and a pass rush would be just unfair.

If Gonzalez was demanding or even asking for a trade I'd say Atlanta should trade him to a contender, but from all appearances Gonzalez isn't trying to force a trade. There's no reason to trade him if he's happy finishing his career with a losing team, particularly if nobody is offering any more than a late-round pick.

It's not in his demeanor to be like that, but you'd have to be oblivious if you think that he doesn't want to win a SB in his last season. The only reason he came back this season was to win one. I'm sure he would be more than happy to reunite in KC where they will make the playoffs, and he will have at least a chance to compete for one.

Barring a surprise, it looks like this will be the only trade at the deadline:
