This is the 3rd or 4th prime time game for them this season...

They have 3 pt games 1 on each network which isnt outta the norm for a team that made the playoffs + has peterson a great fanstasy watch too.

You are correct. But NFL will at best be the second story on the sports shows.

This whole story is a referendum on bullying. Is it any wonder that people being bullied often feel they have no where to turn? Talk to people who ignore you or tell you "buck up" or "Stand up for yourself" or even "Just ignore it". Like that really works. Tell someone in authority and you get called a snitch and shunned, and people rally around the bully. This situation is public, but this same crap happens all over the place.

The attitude is honest. Football is a violent sport, the people on the other side are trying to inflict hurt...that is the way it is. Martin would never play again in the NFL as he is best suited for something else. OL need to have grit, to be fearless as they stand vs the big, bad DL on the other side. That is why they get paid more money than 99% of people who have other jobs. If he can't handle the job then he needs to find something else to do. This is professional football, a "mean"t sport not suited for 99.9999% of humans...What's next running backs complaining, "The LB was trying to bully me by hitting me harder than he needed and he called my mama names"...lets get real.

Absolutely, nobody is going to want Martin in their team. Not one person. Personally, I hope he never comes back to the Dolphins.

This could be classified as a hate crime... Nowhere is this acceptable. It's laughable to condone this type of behavior because they are in a "mean sport."

I don't condone nor do I think the use of the "N" word is appropriate under any circumstance. Where's Martin btw? Still in hiding and letting his lawyers talk for him? Did you hear the interviews with Claybo or Hartline? Hartline states that Martin played that voicemail before and was laughing about it.


The following link raises questions into the bullying accusations as well. I do not have all of the facts. But please lets not discard the real possibility that Martin is mentally unstable and wanted a way out of the NFL.

Is he mentally unstable? Has there been any shred of a diagnosis of mental instability? Not that all are the case, but he does come from a highly intelligent and prominent family. So I would think it's more probable than not that he is mentally stable.

Hartline came off as more credible than Tannenhill, but I get the sense that all these players are trying to protect their locker room. Martin has attacked the locker room in an extremely public manner, and it would stand to reason that most of the players would do anything to protect their brothers and their home away from home.

That's his story, but this could easily corroborated with bank statements. Perhaps he checked himself into a mental hospital on the advice of others such as his agent or parents...

Its not uncommon for people close to each other to use language they don't use in front of strangers

Hartline himself said martin played the voicemail in front of them and laughed about it

Just because someone said a certain word doesn't mean they are this or that, you always have to look at context

Sociology or whatever major could probably explain it better but using the n word in certain circles means "yeah ur black and so what I don't care"

Being sensitive to the fact they're black would probably turn off more of them

the use and meaning of the word has evolved to more than a derogatory comment, just look at all the rappers and black people that say it to each other

And before u start I'm not defending anything I still wouldn't use that language, just trying to rationale why dolphins players seem to be ok with it

At the end of the day I wanna hear from the two people at the center of it to get it straight but they lawyered up
