He plays like a pop warner QB in big games...and it's absolutely hilarious

I think you know what he is saying. Peyton has a history of subpar performances in big games. He's undoubtedly one of the greatest ever, but he does have his kryptonite.

Peyton Manning in the playoffs:
Wins - 9
Losses - 11

Peyton Manning's record vs. Tom Brady:
Wins - 4
Losses - 10

And don't say it's because he didn't have the teams to get through the playoffs. He's had plenty of talent through his years in Indy and Denver to win more than one Super Bowl. He's a great QB, but time and time again he's failed in the biggest games.

Well his loss with Denver was completely on the secondary.

ANd he will continue to fail. He isn't a big game QB. Cool you can win MVPs and reg season awards. But turtles when a big game is on his shoulders.

And that's what separates the MEN from the BOYS. MEN have no excuses and win a game with 3 turnovers in their first 3 possessions. Peyton gets ahead and then sits on his hands until it's too late. I don't understand Manning? Belichick and Brady would have thrown their mothers at Manning if they had a 24pt lead on him. They would have never let up on him.

I know he changes the plays a lot when he sees something better, but you do know that coaches generally make those types of decisions, right? The more I come here, the less I think people know about sports.

I do. But doesn't it, at least a little, burn you that when the game is on the line he can't move the ball? I do respect his knowledge and expert play of the game.

When the game was on the line, he was actually moving the ball better than he had the rest of the game.

If thats the case. Why did he run on 1st and second down at about tue 50 going to score a FG in OT. Ya they were running the ball well but moreno at that point was hurt and Talib was out. Manning should have seen arrington was on thomas and attacked. Surprise surprise he didnt

What do you guys think of Michael Griffin getting suspended a game for his hit on Mychal Rivera Sunday?

I think it's an absolute joke that Griffin is being labeled a repeat offender. He has been one of the softest defenders in the NFL over the last couple seasons. He's been playing well this season, and I really don't see any malicious intent when he hit Rivera. The flag I expected. A fine I expected. But a suspension??? Really??? He went low just before Rivera started falling to the ground. You can't hit high, so Griffin went low. Unfortunately his shoulder hit Rivera's helmet, and the hit looked way worse than it was because the concussion came from Rivera's head hitting the ground.

I guess the NFL needs the Colts to wrap up the division. No Luck in the playoffs is bad for the league. Oh well. They'll go one and done again. No defense, and Luck is the most overrated QB in the league, and it's not even close.

You guys proved to be a hell of a lot better than I thought you were though... to hang in there with Denver and only give up 27 to that team was impressive. Then for Alex Smith to be able to put up 38 points and keep up with Rivers after Hali and Houston went down (which I assume is why Rivers did THAT well) was even more impressive.

I'm thinking 12-4 for you guys, which is still a great season... just sucks that it's only gonna be good enough for the 5th seed. And whatever scrub team ends up as the 6th seed will only be 9-7 at best (probably 8-8).

But hey... beat the Broncos this weekend and everything changes.
Thanks. This team is doing really good.I like that Alex Smith appears to be throwing down the field more.I like our chances this weekend. I'm hoping Hali will be back. I don't think Houston will be back.

I like it.

Its his 4th violation in 2 yrs so obviously he is doing something wrong.

+ the colts have been in 3 of the top 30 most watched games this year the titans 0 so yes i think we know who the nfl is rooting for.

And it's amazing he failed to see that....we all did. Not sure if he missed it...or wasn't comfortable throwing in that situation into the win.

I know the difference between actual analysis and just ragging on someone because it wins cool points with some crowds. Is that good enough?

Ha. Got it. Talib is the only corner that they had to match Thomas in size. Oh well, Broncos will beat the Chiefs this week and they'll say all is in order again. Which it won't be.

From 1992-2012 the Packers started a total of 3 quarterbacks, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and Matt Flynn. With Flynn being named the starter in tomorrow's game the Packers will have started 4 different quarterbacks in the last 5 games.
