I saw an article on how the browns game was "gifted" to the Pats.

I disagree and here's my reasons.

1) I'm a Pats fan

2) Pass interference is always a judgment call and the refs are paid to make that call.

3) They could have won without the penalty... they were trying to win on that very play and would have tried again on the next down.

4) It's nothing compared to the game given to the Jets .. that was obscene

5) Who the hell or the Browns anyways? And Browns has to be the crappiest name for a football team in all history. They don't even wear Brown and why should they. If they don't get a better name then they get whatever is coming to them.

+1 Thank you I don't care if it was cheap shot after cheap shot taking him out... If you can't stay on the field doesn't matter how "freak" you are.

Same goes for RG3, AP, exc. exc.

lol Witten is used more than Gronk ever has.. He's been doing it longer and harder than Gronk and held up.

Same with Tony G... He was the entire offense in KC and then half of it with Larry Johnson and Priest Holmes...

Jason Witten is the reason I wish they would stop drafting 1 dimensional morons in the 2nd round, they know what a great tight end looks like and they refuse to spend a 2nd round pick on actually getting one that can eventually attempt to fill my favourite player of all-time's shoes. Had to guess though, Witten will most likely be playing into his 40s, the man is just an absolute monster that will play through most injuries and hasn't missed a game since he broke his jaw as a rookie and was held out while the wiring on his face did its job.

I agree. There's a reason guys have an injury rating in Madden that differs and thats because some guys are just more prone to injury for whatever reason. Gronk is one of those guys that just can't stay healthy for whatever reason.

It doesn't matter that Witten might have hurt himself too if he laid out for the ball like Gronk does but the only thing that does matter is he catches as many balls as anyone and he knows how to take care of his body. Maybe the fact that he has a little less athletic ability saves him from throwing his large frame around recklessly

So they should cut their losses with gronk? Release him? Minny release AP?

I don't think Minnesota is going to release All Day but I wouldn't be surprised if he does what Jared Allen is doing and demands a trade after the season.

I wouldn't release him since he's so cheap next season, but it certainly has to be worrying. You might want to look at drafting a TE early.

As they probably will. Once hernandez decided to murder someone..i think you could bet on them drafting a TE pretty high. They loved that two TE set

Jared Allen has never in any way requested a trade from Minnesota. He is a free agent after the season. The Vikings were fielding trade offers for Allen at the trade deadline but that was because they know there's a good chance they'll lose him after the season and wanted to get something for him, especially since Allen can only bring in a 5th round compensatory pick because compensation drops when a player has completed two multi-year contracts. Allen said at the time that he hoped to stay in Minnesota and did not want to be traded.

IIf the trend continues another season or two yes... And AP is not really a fair comparison the guy has literally carried that offense for years, bound to break down compared to a guy getting less than 200 touches. Gronk had one monster year.

A Packers fan saying go Cowboys? Now I've seen everything, what's next, Giants and Iggles fans saying it too? Bears' defense is absolutely decimated by injuries, I will be ticked if we don't have at least 400 yards of offense and over 30 points tonight, Clownahan.

Murray had better be chunking with Witten grabbing some TDs. My fantasy team is depending on it. I do not want to lose to Navi round 1 especially after going 11-2

49ers may not have any MNF or TNF home games the next couple years:

Quote:
Say you’re throwing a big event, like a wedding or a family reunion, at your house. If you’re short on parking, maybe you offer your neighbors a few bucks to let your guests park in their driveways. But it’s probably going too far to ask your neighbors to redo their entire schedule for your party.

That’s apparently what the San Francisco 49ers have been asking of their soon-to-be neighbors at the new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

See, the new stadium doesn’t have enough parking capacity for the nearly 70,000 fans who will show up to games. For Sunday games, the team has been able to wrangle enough parking spots from neighboring businesses to meet the parking needs, but if they score a Monday Night Football game, there’s a big problem.

While here on the Atlantic Coast, Monday Night Football games start at 8:40, a few hours after most people have gone home from work, it’s only 5:40 in San Francisco at kickoff, a time at which many of those businesses will, ya know, still be open for business with employees and clients and all.

Even though the Niners’ first season at Levi’s Stadium is still many, many months away, a Santa Clara City Councilwoman tells the San Francisco Chronicle that the team has approached several companies in the area to see if they would be willing to change their work hours to accommodate a weeknight game.

And while some workers would probably jump at the chance to get out early on a game day, it’s just not feasible for some businesses, like the community college that has no problem renting 2,200 spaces to the team for Sunday games, but needs those spots for students and employees on weekdays.

“That would be very difficult for our students,” explains the vice chancellor of the West Valley-Mission Community College District.

This parking problem could keep the Niners out of Monday Night Football for the next season or two. It would also probably keep them from being scheduled on Thursday night, though you won’t hear too many people complaining about that one.
