In injury news, Panthers linebacker Jon Beason is out for the season with a torn Achilles. Last month the Panthers signed Beason to a six-year, $51.3 million contract with a $20 million signing bonus. Also out for the season is Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding, who tore his ACL on the opening kickoff while trying to tackle Vikings returner Percy Harvin. Rams starting cornerback Ronald Bartell could miss the season with 2 small fractures in his neck, and Rams running back Steven Jackson is likely out for next Monday's game against the Giants with a strained quad.

McNabb will be better once he gets used to Percy and throwing to Peterson since that's really all he's got, that offense was never going to be that good this year though.

Fitzy had a heck of a game. If he can only play half that good we'll be competitive in most of our games this year.

Vikings have Tampa and Detroit coming up next. I doubt McNabb's numbers get much better after those games. Detroit is going to be all over McNabb when those two play.
