49ers FS Dashon Goldson (knee) was limited in practice all week and might not be active in Week 2.
Madieu Williams will start in his place once again and is a mediocre replacement at best. With or without Dez Bryant (quadriceps) in the lineup, Miles Austin and Jason Witten have a favorable matchup against a banged up Niners secondary.

Panthers are starting undrafted rookie Byron Bell at right tackle in place of the injured Jeff Otah. I'm expecting the Packers to exploit that and pressure Newton all day long. They'll constantly change up their defense to confuse Newton. I will be surprised if the Packers don't win by 20+ points.

Hoping that includes huge days for Greg Jennings and James Starks, I could use the fantasy boost. Yeah I'm expecting Green Bay to score over 40 points, just don't see Carolina's defense stopping them even once. Still expecting us to score 28-38 points against San Francisco, even with their fans planning a crowd "red-out".

Only way we'll win against Sanchez and the Jets is if we play a flawless game both on offense and defense. I don't see the Jags winning today, but I do see them at 2-1 when we beat Carolina next week.
