I'm typically against teams moving, but I think the Rams are a better fit for LA than St. Louis.

I think this is largely a negotiating tactic to get St. Louis to spend the money to update the Edward Jones Dome. It would take years to get a stadium built on this site because there would be multiple lawsuits by environmental groups and other citizen groups, and the owner would have to pay for the entire stadium cost because the city/state aren't going to help. There's no guarantee they could get 3/4 of the owners to approve a move because owners want cities to help pay for stadiums and if the Rams owner paid for his own stadium that would set a bad precedent for future teams that want stadium money. If Kroenke truly wants to move to LA it would make a lot more sense to make a deal with AEG for the Farmers Field site, which has already gone through all the environmental and traffic studies and could start construction almost immediately.

So if I bet a $100 on the Seahawks winning, how much will I get back?

At +110 you would win $110 on a $100 bet (100*1.1).

Here's a great piece that explains how Peyton Manning could possibly owe more in taxes on his Super Bowl game check than the check is worth.

http://reason.com/blog/2014/01/29/pe...ew-jersey-more

If he loses and decides to play another year, he may as well just tear up that check.

Why Broncos will win:

1.) Experience - Two time Super Bowl winners

2.) Its the year of the horse in Chinese astrology

3.) EA Sports predicts a Broncos victory

Why Seahawks will win:

1.) Hunger - never won the Super Bowl

2.) Underdog team has won the Super Bowl the past few years (Saints, Packers, Giant, Ravens)

3.) The cold weather will affect Manning's throwing ability

4.) Eli The Ape has picked them to go over this year.

I think the Broncos will win, but my money is on the Seahawks.

Do you get your $100 bet back in addition to wining $110, or do you just get paid a total of $110? Risking a hundred bucks to win ten bucks seems like a really lousy bet.

BTW, for those of us born after the fall of the Roman empire, it's Superbowl 48.

I am trying to see if I can work Sunday night since I am asking out of my Monday Night shift to go to Clinical Preparation and I don't really care that much who wins the Super Bowl.
