I supported him for 1.5 years. He had his opportunities to keep the starting job. Right now I like where we're headed. Draft 2 QB's, beef up the defense, and sign some key veterans in the FA market. We got the most draft picks of any team and plenty of money to spend so chances are, we'll land someone good to help rebuild this franchise from the ground up. Started with changing GM's and head coach. Showed some signs of improvement at the end of the year, and now we build a team with players that are committed to win.

You don't get the best value on the 1st day of free agency, there will be some bargains in the coming days, be patient...

I know, but the Falcons cut him. Otherwise, he would have only been able to come back to them.

Not surprised the Rams are sitting back. They haven't been smart in FA the last two years. I think they've got a lot of faith in this years draft class. Build through the draft, not FA.

That's the proper way to do it, groom your own talent. Free agency is best used to provide depth in my opinion.

Winning teams don't build through FA. Just look at MIA last year. And CLE this year

Bills and Dolphins have been trying to build through the draft for the past 15 years, where did that lead them? There's no perfect formula, just look at all the free agents on the Seahawks last year. At least we are trying to mix things up and fill some holes through free agency. Free agents don't cost any draft picks, don't see why that would hurt the team to sign some free agents.

Sooner or later we have to get it right. I do think we both are moving in the right direction. A lot of young talent on both our teams.

I agree with no perfect formula for success, but drafting players seems the best way because they eat a significantly less portion of the cap, which allows for more depth. Legion of Boom = all drafted players and some like Sherman drafted late. Wilson is still on his rookie contract and was drafted in the third rd. I'd rather build through the draft and add certain pieces through free agency. Signing a mediocre CB for $40 million over 4 years with 20 guaranteed seems

I dont want Oakland to make a splash, even though we have the cap room I dont want to just over pay a player just becuase we can.

I just want to pay the guys who have been playing well for us, losing our LT Valdheer only to over pay someone else? Losing our best DT Houston, why? Losing our lead rusher Jennings, only to sign an injury prone McFadden?

Makes no sense as to what the Raiders are doing right now, I've been patient for over 12 years, its getting old

SO Byrd went to the Saints..they have to cut that to the bare bones. They had little $$ to begin with

Verner to the Bucs...helps lower Talibs # a bit.. Last top tier guy left is Talib
