I'm wondering if McKenzie paid off the team doc or something. Talk about buyer's remorse. I'm just glad that awful contract is gone. Now we can overpay someone else that sucks.

Whoa hold on now lol did I ever say my chosen Franchise is doing everything right? Our idiot GM drafted 3x WR in the first round 3 out of 4 years. I know a big part of the Jets problem is the GM and ownership, Rex didn't want Revis traded, and the ownership shot Rex down when he wanted Revis back after the bucs released him. I can think of a lot of problems with both our Franchises, biggest difference is your coach at least had a good defense at 1x.

I mean lets be real off the top of my head what idiot signs a DE to a contract where 22 million goes against the cap in a single season with no guarantee said player is going to renegotiate? Just because my team does something dumb does not mean I am the type of person that does not have a clue. Now it is possible the Jets tried to move into St Louis spot in the draft and couldn't get a deal done we don't fully know the entire story. Just me personally I dont see Eric Decker as a number 1 I see him as a bi product of Peyton Manning and Geno Smith is no Peyton Manning.

It sounds like it was Mark Davis' call to get rid of Saffold and not McKenzie. Saffold said the Raiders doctor told him his shoulder looked fine so it may have been Davis getting cold feet. Regardless, this just makes Oakland a less desirable destination. Saffold played all of last season with the shoulder injury and passed a physical with the Rams after the season, and when the Raiders backed out of the deal the Rams happily brought him back.

Mike Silver says McKenzie may be fired before the draft. If that happens the NFL needs to do something about Mark Davis (or Tommy Boy as people in the organization nicknamed him when his dad was still alive), because it's clear he shouldn't be running an NFL team.
