Another great move by Whaley. Mike Williams is a very productive receiver with a manageable contract. This is pretty much the kiss of death for Stevie Johnson after this season. He has a big cap number for 2015, and he and the coaching staff haven't been seeing eye to eye.

Titans just released Chris Johnson

Titans released RB Chris Johnson.

The move has been in the works for weeks, if not months. The Titans save $6 million versus the cap and eat a $4 million dead money hit. Johnson isn't the same player as the one that rushed for 2,006 yards in 2009 and earned the moniker CJ2K, but he still has excellent speed and hasn't missed a game since his rookie season. There's no chance he'll find the $8 million salary he was scheduled to earn on the open market, but Johnson is easily the best back to hit free agency this offseason. He won't be a true No. 1 like he was in Tennessee, either. Johnson is merely a complementary piece to a backfield. Look for the Jets and Cowboys to show interest. The Patriots and Rams could also be in the mix.

Navster -- Who you hoping for with the #5 pick this year? Any of the QB's could be added to that disappointing list, or they could be great. Watkins is pretty safe, I think.

I know a lot of mock drafts are predicting the Raiders take a QB but I don't see it happening. GM Reggie McKenzie and coach Dennis Allen are going to be fired if they don't improve this year. They both almost got fired this offseason and Mark Davis isn't going to accept another year below .500. That's why I think they take Sammy Watkins, who should be able to step in immediately and be their #1 receiver.

Ya Fate is correct, they are in a win now desperate mode, and Watkins is a good bet, especially with us signing Shaub, would be a great deep threat... But at the same time it wouldnt surprise me if they took Manziel

The Lions will reportedly host the Bills on Thanksgiving. Since the Lions had to host an AFC team the only options were the Bills or Dolphins and the Bills website has (possibly inadvertently) leaked that they will be the opponent.

Yeah that was a leak as the Lions usually announce it damn Bills already messing everything up. Buffalo cant ever do nothing right.
