Fairley and Suh are a nasty combo, you can build an excellent defense around those two, also Bush is a rather nasty weapon as well as a receiver and a runner.

That isn't too surprising. I actually heard a few rumors on PFT that the Bills were perhaps shopping Stevie Johnson as part of a trade to move up in the draft.

Stevie's days are numbered in Buffalo for sure. His attitude and antics are really starting to grow thin in the Bills locker room from what I have read.

So the Browns spent $100k for some sort of study to determine which QB was worht taking. I guess the study was worth it if it steers them away from Manziel and towards Bridgewater. Bridgewater should still be available until at least late 1st round or early 2nd, so they could take someone else at #4 and pickup Bridgewater later or just trade down.

Lots of teams want him, but don't want to spend a top 10 pick on him, so I could see him going #26(or whatever the second Browns pick is, I can't remember). It's not unreasonable to expect teams to leapfrog the Texans to get back into the end of the first and pick him up.

But if they really want him, might as well use #4.

Agreed. I think that will be their strategy as well. Just read this statement which Pettine made, and it seems to support that plan of action.

Coach Mike Pettine said that based on his evaluation of this year's QB draft class, it will be "very difficult" for a rookie to beat out Brian Hoyer.
"I really believe that," Pettine said. "There's that certain it factor [Hoyer] has. Just the way he's attacked his rehab, the way he's attacked learning a new offense. What jumped out was his accuracy." This doesn't sound like the typical coach-speak we hear around draft time. Pettine and the Browns are unlikely to use the No. 4 overall pick on a quarterback.

Tom Curran of CSN New England reports that a trade sending Ryan Mallett from the Patriots to the Texans “may soon be done.” Curran stresses it’s not a done deal, but that the “machinations have begun.”

I hope this happens so the Patriots can get something for Mallett rather than lose him after the season for nothing. If this happens I would assume the Patriots would take a QB in the second or third round because with Tom Brady being 37 it's time to think about the future.
