Do you think the Jets so bad that you're expecting a loss on a bye week?

Well if you know the Rex Ryan era Jets, then you would know the Jets lose the bye week every time

Nope thats not how it works....the home/away 2 games based on order of finish stays the same for 2 yrs in a row & doesnt alternate as you say.

Example if jets & steelers finish the same this year the steelers will be at jets in 2015 again just like they are in 2014.

There should be an exception if you play that team three years in a row on the road. That's just BS.

Minnesota has been awarded Super Bowl 52 in 2018. It beat out Indianapolis and New Orleans. Not a surprise as cities are usually awarded a Super Bowl when they build a new stadium, although there was a lot of support for New Orleans getting the game since 2018 is the city's tricentennial.

Mike Pouncey posted an Instagram pic of himself with his kid at home. You can clearly see an Aaron Hernandez framed jersey in the room.

The Steelers played the entire AFC East last year, and the Jets played the AFC North. That game you're referring to wasn't scheduled due to them finishing the same place in their divisions.

It does go exactly the way I said... The Jets will play the Steelers in Pittsburgh in 2016. What happens between now and then will be based off of where the teams place in their divisions. So this season they are facing each other due to being 2nd place teams. Check the last time they faced off due to division placement... 2012 Jets played at Steelers due to both teams being 2nd place the season before. So now the Steelers are playing at Jets this season for the same reason. It alternates.

That's how it works. Period. I can tell you 14/16 of every teams' opponents for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and so on. It's pretty simple.

There are always exceptions that have to be made due to the complexity and logistics of ordering the schedule, but that's the gist of it.

Im talking this year 2014 sched.
Steelers are at jets cause both were 2nd in 2013.
If both finish 2nd again steelers will be at jets in 2015 again.
Yes the sched alternates but im saying the home/away for the placing finish games stays for 2 yrs in a row before it alternates.
Youre skipping the "stays 2 yrs in a row" part.

Thatd be dumb cause then it throws off the idea of a set sched each year.

I know you're talking about this year... Steelers are at Jets. I understand that.

I have never seen an example of what you are talking about other than with the Jets/Titans this season. I think this is a rare exception. I don't have an exact answer for why it happened. It truly should be our turn to play at Jets. But it was our turn to host the Seahawks last season, and that didn't happen - due to logistics. No clue why the Jets aren't hosting us this season.

Here's a prime example: in 2009 the Titans played the Steelers (because we were both 1st place teams) in Pittsburgh. In 2010 we faced off again (because we were both 3rd place teams) in Nashville. If what you were saying was true we would have played them in Pittsburgh again in 2010.

2009 could have been the second time in Pittsburgh in that case.

Tough call. Probably depends on how many picks are even in the 1st.

So glad the league has it's priorities straightened out.

beat the crap out of your fiancee = probably no suspension
Smoke pot = year long suspension

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10...ersion-program

Quote:
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was accepted into a pretrial intervention program Tuesday that will result in the dismissal of his assault charge if he completes the program

The pretrial intervention program is a diversion program that permits certain defendants (particularly first-time ones) to avoid formal prosecution.

Rice will have to attend the program for the minimum of one year. If he successfully completes it, the third-degree charge of aggravated assault stemming from the incident on Feb. 15 involving Janay Palmer, who is now his wife, will be dismissed. The arrest would stay on his record but without the conviction.

"We're very happy with the result. We're glad that the court and the prosecutor's office agreed PTI was the appropriate disposition for the case," Rice's attorney, Michael Diamondstein, told ESPN's Adam Caplan when contacted about Tuesday's decision.

What does that have to do with the NFL? This was a legal matter & has nothing to do with the NFL.
