That is classic Munchak. Knew it would happen. Yet I think I still picked us for survival that week because it's my team and I had to. I also forgot to mention Dexter McCluster. He's expected to assume a Danny Woohead (who was with Whiz in SD last year) type role for us. I'm excited. Last edited by TitansFan4Life; 07-30-2014 at 10:41 PM. |

I think everyone is, for whatever reason, expecting us to be 4-12 or 5-11. I just don't understand that. I'm not expecting immediate results with Whiz and co. but I have high hopes for the future. 8-8 is my current prediction for us. Our range is probably between 6 and 9 wins. |

I'm gonna have to take a look at some team's schedules before I vote on the poll.
EDIT: I voted Patriots. I could easily see them at 9-0 at the bye. Their schedule isn't that bad. The toughest teams they have (before the bye) are the Bengals, Bears, and Broncos, and they play all of them in Foxborough. Saints would've been my next choice. Looks like Marshawn Lynch's holdout somewhat paid off. The team guaranteed two incentives that Lynch previously had to earn, guaranteeing $500,000 that previously had to be earned via roster bonuses and another $500,000 that he previously needed to rush for 1,500 yards to earn. They also took $500,000 from his 2015 salary and guaranteed it for 2014, so he's now guaranteed $6.5 million this year rather than the $5 million he was previously scheduled to earn, although it's possible he would have eventually ended up making all that money anyway.

For how cheap it was to get Lynch in camp it made sense. If Lynch had been holding out for a new deal like Jamaal Charles the Seahawks wouldn't have budged, but for $1.5 million, including $500,000 Lynch would have received anyway as long as he stayed healthy, another $500,000 he would have received if he gets 1,500 yards, and another $500,000 he would have gotten if he's still on the team next season, it's worth it to get him in camp and you would assume make him happy.
