My team is serious in that league. You just had the wrong opponent week 1. I played against Peyton last year when he opened the season with 7 TDs. Scheduling can hurt.

The NY Giants have less yards (75) than the Lions do in penalty yards (85). Calvin Johnson alone has also outgained NY (131).

The usual Lions characteristics (penalties, no running game, and blunders (missed FG)) is keeping the game close.

I thought for sure I was the only Titans fan here. I've only been a fan since 1998. First year in Nashville (still the Oilers then). I've been fortunate enough to have season tickets since that time, and I have been to basically every home game minus a few.

I think it's more plausible that the NFL didn't see the video. It's hard to believe they and the Ravens would have such little respect for women.

They can't have seen it and think 6 games for a first time offense is enough. I think it could get revamped again and be even longer.

The punishment right now is basically a lifetime ban.

TMZ says they have proof that the NFL did know so we'll see.

The Pegulas are expected to be named the winning bidders for the Bills in the next couple days. Perhaps even today. This is the way it should be. Lifelong fans owning the team they love and adore.

I'm a little confused on what the NFL is doing here. Didn't they suspend Rice based on the guidelines that existed at the time he committed his crime, which was obviously lower? While I do think the guy always deserved a long suspension I don't see how the NFL can go back and change his punishment retroactively. Then again it probably makes no difference. Even if the NFL did not increase the punishment over this video there still wouldn't be any teams wanting anything to do with Ray Rice. The fan backlash over the video would be too intense for any team to hire this guy anytime soon.

Going into Sunday night's game I was down 50 points and Yahoo put my chances of winning at 4%. Following 28 points games by Calvin Johnson and Julius Thomas and my opponent's Victor Cruz doing jack squat I emerged victorious by 4 points.
