Raiders have a rough next 2 weeks, vs the Jets, then Pats, im willing to bet anyone here that we beat one of these teams & come out at least 1-1, if that doesnt happen, i'll ban myself from this thread for 1 week....

Avatar bet, just be aware Romo is playing out of his mind and our defense already has 10 sacks with our players STILL learning the scheme. Should be fun to watch Rex get smacked around. Oh and did anyone catch the picture of a hottie on Rob's playsheet against the 49ers? Perv.

lol I'm on the fence I don't like how our oline has looked and with Josh Wilson and Kevin Barns already hurt, I think we'll get lit up like that iggls game last year . But what the hell I'm down for a bet

If we have to pass more than 15-25 times I think they might get another 10 sacks.

We got Smith six times and he's a lot more mobile than Grossman, not to mention a lot of those sacks were after he made 2-3 guys miss so a lot of guys were coming free.

How about a nice avatar bet next week. We're gonna make Jason Campbell look like Luke McCown.

I mean we all play up for division games, but just watching this team two weeks in a row a good pass rush should destroy us, but who knows I figured we'd be 1-1 at best, but here we are 2-0

If Austin can go he should be able to rip apart whoever they have filling in for our banged up (already weak) secondary.

Although if I'm the cowboys I'd say forget overpaid Austin and throw in Holley because he looks like he could be a real beast, and is a humble kid.

A more humble player doesn't slow down and point the ball up and scores on that play. He has humble beginnings but the kid already has an ego. I dunno, Bryant and Austin are stars for a reason, no idea how good our passing game will be with Romo throwing to Olgetree, Harris and Holley. Might be too much pressure for the young guys to handle.

mark stood for 51 years before Tom Brady's 517-yard torching of the Dolphins Monday night. Cam Newton's record of 854 passing yards in the first two games of an NFL season lasted a short-lived three hours until Brady cruised by at 940 yards. Though Brady fell five yards shy of Phil Simms' two-game record, he did become the first quarterback in NFL history to follow a 500-yard game with a 400-yard game. The Patriots have scored 30+ points in 10 consecutive regular-season games, four short of the Rams' 1999-2000 record. Over that 10-game span, Brady remains unbeaten with a 29:1 TD-to-INT ratio and a passer rating over 100.0 in each contest.

Brady has won his last 29 regular-season home starts, in large part due to the evolution of the Patriots offense. As we saw in NFL Network's excellent documentary Bill Belichick: A Football Life, Belichick had an epiphany late in the 2009 season that led to the drafting of dynamic tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. "You just take Moss away in the deep part of the field and get down on Welker," Belichick said in a staff meeting. "We're done. We're done. We can't run the ball. We can't throw it to anybody else. We're done." As the Rookie Scouting Portfolio's Matt Waldman explains, Belichick has essentially turned the spread offense inside-out with a two- and three-tight end approach allowing the Pats to add flexibility and exploit mismatches at the line of scrimmage. Brady has mastered the tight-end spread to the tune of a 128.0 passer rating through two weeks.

We've seen Drew Brees, Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, and Philip Rivers make a run at Dan Marino's 5,084 passing yards, only to come up short. This may be the year that Marino's 1984 mark finally falls. Brady (7,520), Newton (6,832), Rivers (5,704), Brees (5,512), and Tony Romo (5,496) are all on pace to shatter the mark after two games. While those numbers are sure to plummet, Brady is on pace to break the record by Week 11. He needs to average just 296 yard per game the rest of the way to top Marino. Considering the Patriots defense has surrendered an average of 479 yards through two weeks, Brady isn't going to be slowing down anytime soon.

The Jags are creating a QB controversy, which NEVER helps a team..... Win or Lose... you gotta pick your horse and ride him to the finish line at this point.

They manufactured it themselves by forcing the proven Garrard out for the inconsistent at best McClown. Gabbert will probably be a good QB one day but he's not ready yet, this is truly a no-win scenario for the Jaguars.

I disagree. Gabbert is better than McClown right now. It's a no brainer to go with Gabbert IMO. But knowing Del Rio I'm sure he'll go with McClown again.

Sounds like he's ok from what I've read. My guess is you don't hear much about it because, well... he's Kerry Collins. I'm not sure even Curtis Painter would be much of a downgrade from him.

Not Kerry Collins, but Packers Safety Nick Collins who was carted off the field yesterday with a neck injury
