I have a couple of thoughts to improve the boring touchbacks that dominate kickoffs nowadays:

1. If the ball goes out of the end zone, the offense gets the ball on the 35-yard line.
2. The receiving team must return the ball. No touchbacks on kickoffs.

I think this would make kickoffs more exciting and force kickers to actually be accurate, instead of just kicking it out of the end zone.

Other than that, kickoffs should just be eliminated and the ball placed at the 20.
Any thoughts?

NFL would like to eliminate them. They are by far the play that results in the most injuries.

I am sick of these defenseless receiver calls. First the miles paul call now the Heath bell call in Pittsburgh. It's getting to a pint they may as well just put flags on the damn players and if you tear a flag off they are down.
