Chris Mortensen posted the Wonderlic tests for most of the quarterbacks from the combine. None were very bad. Greg McElroy had a 43, Blaine Gabbert had a 42, Christian Ponder had a 35, Ricky Stanzi had a 30, Andy Dalton had a 29, Ryan Mallett had a 26, Cam Newton had a 21, and Jake Locker had a 20. The average score for a football player is 20, and the average score for a quarterback is 24. It's questionable how important a good Wonderlic score is. Dan Marino got a 16 on the test, and he turned out pretty well, and there have been studies that shown that the Wonderlic does not show how successful a player will be.

Umm... how the heck did Andrew Luck get a 20 and Newton a 21? Luck is going to be a Stanford grad while Newton went 2 years to a community college followed by only 1 year at Auburn.

RT @mortreport: Wonderlics are booksmart/ processing tests. Peyton Manning + Drew Brees each scored 28. Elway 29. Marino + Jim Kelly each 15

I meant Jake Locker, not Andrew Luck. I always mix those names up.

I wonder if the Pats will take back Moss since he's been declaring his love for them.

Belicheat won't take Moss back, I could see him replacing Santana in Washington though.

I just think Moss won't ever be ok with not being the #1 in a game. But if he were to accept that role I think they would bring him back. But who knows.

Moss could agree to a minimum salary deal and the Pats wouldn't take him back. He burned all bridges in New England when he yelled at QB coach/de facto offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien at halftime of the Pats game in Miami, two days before he was traded. Moss' play with the Vikings and Titans proved he isn't worth the headaches and attention he brings.

Just means the Redskins suck at finishing and also that the Redskins don't see anyone they want in the top 10 picks.

lol you finished the same as we did

Nobody really worth taking outside of Peterson and Von Miller IMOP, I'm skeptical of all the Dlineman, WR's we've seen workout gods like Julio Jones not translate into the NFL. So I'd rather get lower and have more chances at players working out.

Tyron Smith is nice but again still enough holes in his game that I'd worry at picks 7-15.

In an attempt to get jumpstart negotiations, commissioner Roger Goodell has sent a letter to all players explaining the owners' most recent proposal.
Goodell conceded that the last offer was intended as a "strong and fair basis" for another extension as opposed to an agreement. Key points of the offer include a $141M salary cap in 2011 ($161M in 2014), free agency after four years, reduced draft-pick compensation for RFAs, fewer offseason workouts, a 16-game season through 2012, a new rookie wage scale, and medical coverage for life. "I hope you will encourage your Union to return to the bargaining table and conclude a new collective bargaining agreement," Goodell wrote in closing. We're not holding out hope that the letter will appeal to NFLPA* boss De Smith.

I think this deal is more than fair, FYI.

Yeah the 18 Games seems inevitable, Medical Insurance for Life, and New Rookie Scale seems correct.

I just hope they don't believe that their going to get 50/50 on all the revunue.

Hopefully this ends this pointles quarrel.
