Mettenberger is starting for us Sunday. Hell yes! Now I can cheer for us to win again!

I expect ups and downs, but he will provide more excitement. All of our players on offense now have more fantasy value... but we will be turning it over more often. Don't care.

We are doing the right thing... Gotta find out if he's the answer. If not, it's Mariota or Rapist next year.

It was so dumb of the NFL to indefinitely suspend Rice. Once the video got out and Rice was released there was no way any team was going to sign Rice for the rest of the season. They were just trying to make themselves look better since the punishment was so lax to begin with, but they were setting themselves up for a lawsuit by suspending him a second time for the same action. Now numerous people associated with the league and the Ravens have to testify under oath about what they knew prior to the video being released, and the lawyers that will be questioning them, Peter Ginsberg and Jeffrey Kessler both have beefs with the league and Goodell and will do their best to make the league and Goodell look terrible.

"I think that's a lot of it," said Freeman. "It' s jealousy. I don't think there's any question about that. The thing about Russell Wilson is he's doing all this stuff. He's winning Super Bowls. He's doing great things, and he's being underpaid and you don't hear him complain about it. He doesn't say a word about it. All he does is present a very professional air."

When asked if players would prefer Wilson acted like Vince Young, Freeman brought it back to Wilson's seemingly close connection to the Seahawks' brass.

"From talking to some of these guys, they think he's just too close to management. They want him to be more like them."

Too many egos in that locker room.

Pretty excited. Not expecting him to be the answer, but I think he will bring us way more excitement.

I can't wait for Sunday. Ups and downs for sure, but he has a cannon arm with great accuracy. He just has to get rid of the ball quicker.

What a way to get your first start against Watt and Clowney.

I still expect us to lose, but at least there's hope now. This had to be done. Locker and Clipboard Jesus are clearly not the answer, so we need to figure out if Mett can be. If not, we'll go QB in the 1st and have the rookie and Mett compete in the offseason.

If Peyton chokes in the playoffs this year, they'll change the rules again. Maybe defensive backs will not even be allowed to bump the receiver at the line of scrimmage.
