as a charger fan in san diego, the refs were ridiculous in that game
1st the fumble in the 1st half, then the interception in the end zone that was called back due to supposedly holding
and then the non existent pass interference call

im guessing they want manning to win a super bowl, which might be the best thing since if he does maybe he will finally go away

Yeah. I saw a game where a defender was lying on the ground, sees the QB and tackles him at the legs, and he got a flag.

I hope they do! Because other than maybe @SD, they could, easily, go 15-1...and possibly lock up home field with 2-3 weeks remaining. Just in time for FF playoffs!

i am not too concerned about the donkeys, they are peaking way too early and we all know what happens next. it's not like the seahawks dominance last year. it is all about getting hot at the right time so a team will start peaking by december and roll into the playoffs as usual.

I agree, a lot can happen between now and December...but there's no denying Denver is one of the most complete teams in the NFL, if not the most complete team, right now.

Shonn Greene arrested late Friday night:

Titans running back Shonn Greene was arrested Friday night on multiple charges, including a resisting stop charge related to his leaving the scene of an incident in Franklin, Tenn., the Tennessean reports.
Greene was charged with a handicap parking violation, driving on a revoked/suspended license, reckless driving and resisting stop/halt/frisk. According to the report, he parked in a handicap parking space and upon being approached by an officer, got back into his car and maneuvered around the officer's vehicle before speeding off. According to the police, he was approached later when police caught up in traffic and sped off again. Greene later turned himself in after learning there were warrants for his arrest.
Greene was listed as probable to play Sunday due to a hamstring injury, but there's no indication as of yet to how the parking incident will affect his availability.

Wonder how many people will watch that Lions Falcons game. Dunno if it is worth it for Falcons fans to wake up that early just to see your team lose.

I'll watch it. I don't have a horse in the race, but it will be fun to watch live football in the morning.
I wouldn't be so quick to rule out Atlanta, the Lions are missing some key people. Could be a nice upset special here.

Atlanta has nothing to play for but pride and Johnson is out but I would say Detroit's strength is their defense so I doubt Atlanta will win.

I'm interested to see how Matty Ice performs. He's pretty dreadful on the road, but that's "road" in the USA! So this is a very long, long, road to the UK!

With Megatron heavily questionable and Bush doubtful, that's a pretty good chunk of Detroit's offense. As you said, it's all about their Defense.
Hopefully it's an entertaining game.
