Where is the rule that a Defensive player can't be the MVP? Plus he's contributed on the other side of the ball. Show me another player that can impact the game on both offense and defense like he can.

Ideally I think he should be strongly considered but Rodgers will win it. Offensive skill position players (especially QB's) just have a stranglehold on the MVP award and the last defensive player to win MVP was Lawrence Taylor in 1986. Though I certainly think Watts's season is every bit as impressive as Taylor's 1986 season.
