I'm in two championships (only one is for money)... Absolute garbage that I didn't make it in the league I'm in on this site.

My team averaged 164 PPG... First game in the playoffs my team scores 97 (lowest total of the entire season), and I lose by 6.

To make matters worse I have Sanders and CJ Anderson on my team. Both were stopped one yard short of the endzone. If either of them score, I would be in the championship.

CJ Anderson was literally less than a foot from scoring... so FF is also a game of inches.

It's not a guarantee like they make it out to be though.

Aside from pulling for other 2-12 teams, we have to pull for the Rams, Panthers, Vikings, and Redskins to each win at least one more game.

And teams we need to lose: Chiefs, Colts, Eagles, Giants, and Jets

Would be a lot easier if Tampa could just win a game. Best case would be that NO clinches that garbage division next week and rests their starters in Tampa week 17.
Like I said days ago

Strictly from a division standpoint the NFC South has a leg up in terms of the tiebreaker of SOS. The Colts are possibly a 12 win team. The top two teams from the NFC South will probably barely have 12 wins lol. Plus the Texans record is better than the first place team lol. So in reality it's going to be tough to overcome that by either the Titans or Jags.

Yea, no doubt.

I'm just saying that there are no guarantees. You might be ignoring the fact that we have three games between the Jags and Jets (that's currently a 7-35 record and .167 win percentage). There are also plenty of teams on each team's schedule that cancel out. We both played the AFC North, so those games cancel each other out.

One way or another, both teams are going to have an extremely close SoS at season's end. It's already really close as it is.

I just have a bad feeling we'll win on Thursday, and all of this talk will be pointless.

So which is moving to LA? SD is close and the Raiders and Rams used to be there.

Rodgers still frontrunner for MVP after that Bills game or did he relax himself out of it?

It should be Watt, but it probably goes to Rodgers.

NFC playoff picture is crazy.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

Packers and Cowboys are in the same predicament in that they need to win out cause they don't win a lot of tiebreakers.

We'll see how strong he closes. Especially 2 weeks from now when the division will be on the line.

Good decision on his part. Cook is a good looking prospect, but he needs more time to hone his craft. He isn't ready for the NFL yet.

I think Brady's candidacy could be hurt by him and Gronk splitting some votes. I've watched every Patriots game this year and the team really turned it around once Gronk was 100%. The first 4 games he was still getting into game shape and getting used to taking hits again, and in those 4 games he never topped 44 yards receiving (although he did score in 3 of those games), but since then he's been back at full speed and has been tearing up defenses. I don't want to take anything away from Brady as he's been very good, but in terms of most valuable player a case could certainly be made for Gronk.

As Packers fans, we need to actually root for the Lions to beat the Bears this weekend, along with us beating TB then beating the Lions week 17, giving us the North.

If the Lions lose to the Bears, but then come into Lambeau and beat us, it likely knocks us out of the playoff picture all together. We need the Lions to come into week 17 with a strong enough record that if they do beat us (and we've already beat TB) that we remain in the Wild Card hunt.

Let's hope we don't have to worry about any of that. Pack, let's just win it out...

I don't see how the Bears-Lions result matters to the Packers. Week 17 is for the division title no matter what the result of the Bears-Lions game as long as the Packers win this week. The Packers clinch a playoff berth this week with a win and a loss or tie by the Eagles or Cowboys.

Uhh How can the Packers Clinch a Playoff berth this week when they are behind the Lions in the standings, Especially if the Lions win this week against the Bears. If what your saying is true then the Lions would already be in the playoffs.

The Lions can also clinch a playoff berth this week. The Lions would also clinch a playoff berth with a win and an Eagles loss, or they could clinch the division with a win and a Packers loss. Packers would clinch at least a wild card berth with a win and a loss by the Eagles or Cowboys.

I would love to see Watt get the MVP but the rest of our team is hurting his chances. We needed to make the playoffs for him to have a chance.

I stand corrected.

In my analysis I had another piece of the puzzle out of place.

Even if the Packers win against the Bucs, if the Lions beat them week 17, the Packers would likely be out.

This is going with the assumption that the Seahawks will win out, Philly will win out, and the Cowboys lose to the Colts, but defeat the Redskins.

*IF* however, the Cowboys beat the Colts and win out, that would bring the Packers back into the Wild Card as they've got the head to head against Philly and then the Eagles would be out.

Unfortunately, it looks very likely an 11-5 team will not make the playoffs, which is too bad...

These last two weeks are going to be awesome.

I would love it if Gronk won, but I don't hear much about him getting votes. All the talk is Rodgers, Manning, & Brady (Luck a little), with Watt and Murray getting a few votes. I don't think Brady will lose many votes to Gronk, but you know the Pats better than I do
