If Denver loses the divisional round, I wouldn't be surprised if Elway made Fox the fall guy.

I wanted to vote in the poll, but the option "None of the Above" doesn't exist.

10-6 on the outside looking in as 7-8-1 Carolina gets in, that's gotta sting. Jameis Winston to the Iggles sure would continue your trend of bonehead QBs.

Huh? Philly has been the HQ of developing QBs. We polish them up, make them look good, and trade for way over face value. Not sure what you're talking about?

And it certainly doesn't sting as only have 1 playoff win in almost 2 decades. Not THAT has got to sting!

2 play-off wins since 1995 doesn't sting as much as their absolute ineptitude when it comes to winning the division. Hope they can ramp up the defensive talent next year and get to more than 12 wins again.

I'm not redoing the poll.

EDIT: On a side note. Jags get 3rd overall pick for the 2nd straight year.

Who lauds Peyton for his playoff performances? If anything he's widely mocked for his lousy 11-12 postseason record.

I'll vote Indy then! I think they have a lot of luck on their side.

This is one case where the difference between #1 overall and #3 overall almost certainly has no bearing on who the Jags pick since the top-2 are most likely Mariota and Winston and Jacksonville isn't picking another QB. Though #1 or 2 would have been nice for trade bait. Leonard Wiliams is probably the favorite to go #3 to the Jags.

It saves the Pats nothing. It actually costs the Pats 1 million in cap space next year LOL.

Media is making Brady to be a saint for exchanging 3 million dollars from the team for the waiving of his skill clause.....

What they need to do is probably address the lineman. Luke Joeckel our 2nd pick 2 years ago who's coming off from IR last year hasn't been playing up to par this year. I think he did an okay job this year, but had some bad moments, for example like last week against JJ Watt.

Knowing Gus Bradley, he's probably going to get the best defensive player available. Our games have been competitive during the 2nd half of the season, just wish there were a few more W's to show for it. Also, Bortles better be working out hard this offseason! I also see a make or break season for Gus Bradley, and OC Jedd Fisch!

Philly has won 3 NFL Champoinships('48, '49, '60). Yes the league is celebrating 94 years, not just since '67 when they changed the trophy.
Now with that said how many Championships have the Jets won since their start in 1960? I'd wager it's greater than zero, but less than 2.

But I digress, I was talking about the last 20 years.

Let me guess, I've posted too much logic/fact, so you'll resort to some inane thread argument? Wow, can't wait.

I don't think Tennessee takes Winston, I think he drops to the Jets, but you're still right. Jax can still get their #1 guy, as Ten will be looking at O-Line, probably.

Yeah, it's really weird how badly the media misconstrued this move. All it did was improve the Patriots cash flow. With the money fully-guaranteed the Patriots had to put the $24 million in an escrow fund. By taking out the skill guarantee the Patriots got to take the money out of the escrow fund, but I can't imagine the Patriots are having cash flow issues so that's not a big deal. Granted the move also allows the Patriots to cut Brady at any time and owe him nothing, but with how underpaid Brady is that's not going to happen anytime soon and if it did Brady could undoubtedly go to another team and make more money.

Exactly. It's another PR story from the media to shine a golden ray of light down upon Justin Bieber.

Kraft is a billionaire, so I would imagine cash flow is not on the list of problems that his team faces lol. The Pats cap space literally went down with this move, so saying it saved cap space for Revis or McCourty is really laughable and wrong.

And how many teams would take 13 trips to the playoffs in 18 years?

Personally if it were my team I'd rather have 2 rings in just 5 postseasons (Eli/Giants) or Roethlisberger's 2 rings over 1 ring in 13 postseasons (Peyton/Broncos/Colts).

Not saying any of them are remotely close to Peyton's level talent-wise, but personally I'd prefer my organization win rings over just making a ton of postseasons without winning big. I would know... I'm a Braves fan.
