Not saying any of them are remotely close to Peyton's level talent-wise, but personally I'd prefer my organization win rings over just making a ton of postseasons without winning big. I would know... I'm a Braves fan.
Yes, but unlike the Braves, the Broncos/Colts have mostly had one player.... Peyton. He can't play both sides of the ball.

It's called flexibility...and Brady just gave that to the Pats. Pats have an easier time with cash flow while Brady gets some extra $$...it's a win win...but jets fans don't know a lot about that now do they?

Those final three years became guaranteed last Sunday when Brady was on the Patriots’ roster, requiring the team to have that $24 million in escrow by the end of March due to NFL salary requirements. Because Brady surrendered the guarantee, it now gives the team cash flexibility to help sweeten the pot for the likes of Revis, but does not have salary cap implications. As the Herald’s Jeff Howe points out, the Patriots could say, “the hell with it” in re-negotiating with the cornerback, and simply pick up the team option for 2015, which includes a $12 million roster bonus, $9 million of which would be due to Revis by mid-March. That would prevent him from following Rex Ryan, wherever the former Jets coach may land, or falling into Woody Johnson’s tampering plea for his former All-Pro star.

I hope it's Pats/Broncos again... no one will ever be able to again deny the fact that Brady is better than Peyton if this matchup happens... other than delusional UT/Peyton fans.
I hope it's pats and broncos as well. Manning won't be able to come in here and win that one. They are such an up and down team now

I'm a bit surprised the Jaguars fired Fisch. That offense was so young, I thought they would give him a full offseason to develop together.

Flexibility for a billionaire? yeah... It actually hurts the Pats salary cap not help it . Stop drinking the Kool-Aid...

If you believe that 24 million in escrow would have any impact whatsoever on the distribution of signing bonuses than you are delusional...

It will have an impact...and i am not the only one saying it just like the article i posted and many other writers already wrote.... Brady and Pats made another smart football move..and you sit there and can't accept that. Whatever helps you sleep at night bud. No matter what pats do it's always bad in your eyes so no point in discussing this with you.

Lol do you have grape or cherry?

It has a negative impact because your salary cap went down with this move. 24 million in an escrow account for a billionaire is a drop in the bucket. The only impact is what fatediesel described. Brady gets 3 million for waiving his injury clause. Has no impact whatsoever on signing bonuses....

Can't say I'm surprised, Ted Cottrell was the arbitrator in 2012 that overturned Ed Reed's suspension:

That's BS. With his history, Suh shouldn't be playing this weekend.

Meh, it was dirty but not worthy of a suspension. Not even close IMO. The fine seems justified though.

Suh has been a good player since those early infractions. This was just a mis-step in his road to being a HoF player.

Remember this play from last Thanksgiving...He sacked Flynn in the endzone, and laid off so much he helped him back up.

Could it be the Lions were up by 30 in that game?
Sorry, the guy is dirty. Has been, always will be. A leopard never changes it's spots.

Now with that said, I hope to hell he wrecks all kinds of havoc against Dallas then Detroit loses in the 2nd round.
