How quickly things can change just had a team meeting Monday and wasn't given a heads up, but guess that's how this business works

Bills and Bill Polian are very close to deal to make him president of football operations. I wonder if that is connected to Marrone not being offered an extension?

NFL Network's Mike Silver considers Texans director of college scouting Mike Maccagnan the "frontrunner" for the Jets' GM vacancy.

Frank Reich, Rex Ryan, and Jim Schwartz considered frontrunners for Bills job. Bill Cowher will get a phone call, but I don't think he is coming back to coaching. Although if he did, this would be the type job he would want. Small market with a lot of pieces in place.

I'm still thinking Rex to the Bears, I don't know why I have that feeling.
