Rex Ryan is by far the best choice for the Falcons. They should hire him already. Most of the offense is in place. Perfect fit for him... just gotta hire a good OC.

Random note... Rex Ryan lives in Nashville. I ran into him last summer... Turns out he does have a house here after all. He's been seen at Preds and Sounds (minor league baseball) games

Tim Jennings was arrested Wednesday by Gwinnett County (Georgia) police on charges of speeding, DUI and reckless driving.
Reported by ESPN.com, the Chicago Bears still haven't made a comment on the instance.
The Gwinnett County Sherriff's office said Jennings, 31, was being held on charges with bonds totaling $2,711 and as of Wednesday afternoon, he was still in there and yet to be bailed out.
Jennings underperformed this season where he tallied just 50 tackles and seven pass breakups in his 16 starts. Last January, Jenning signed a $22.4 million extension for four years when former general manager Phil Emery said he was 'rewarding excellence' for a veteran who took over the No. 1 cornerback spot once Charles Tillman went down with a season-ending injury. Jennings' deal has $11.8 million in guaranteed money, including a $3 million signing bonus.
Jennings was named to the 2012 Pro Bowl and his 13 interceptions in 2012-2013 were only behind Richard Sherman.

Falcons have taken personnel decisions away from Demitroff and given to Scott Pioli, though he'll still report to Demitroff.

I absolutely feel bad for Lions fans, they played us very well and very easily could've won the game. However they did not and complaining about the officiating may make them feel a bit better but it won't change the reality that they lost. They're really only a QB and a couple more pieces on defense away from being possibly the best team in the NFL.

That's because their D was very good. Edwards had that 1 good year with them as well

If Smith and Parnell can handle Peppers and Matthews(big if) we should have a lot of success on offense. We need to do what we did throughout December and go up big early with some clock-grinding drives then get opportunistic on defense and hopefully ride momentum to the end of the game. NFC Championship game would be far more than most fans dreamed of this season, especially bitter realists like me that have been moaning and groaning since 2009.

The ground game has to be a vital part for Dallas to succeed against GB. I really hope that Romo brings his A game along with the receiving core.

Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and the Browns are parting ways after 1 season. Shanahan reportedly found the environment in Cleveland to be toxic and wanted out. Kyle has interviewed for some head coaching jobs and there's also the possibility his dad could get a job and he joins him. It seems like every offseason there's a max exodus in Cleveland, and virtually everyone in the organization has changed over the last couple years, with the exception of the owner, so it seems like he's the big problem.
