No way Justin Houston hits free agency. The Chiefs will definitely use the franchise tag on him. I am curious to see what happens with Greg Hardy. His trial is next month so his legal situation will be cleared up by the time free agency starts. One issue for him is if he's found guilty or accepts a plea bargain he'll get suspended by the NFL, because with Adrian they've shown that being on the exempt list is not a punishment. Hardy has been a very good player and is only 26 so it will be interesting to see if he gets signed, since this isn't a situation like with Ray Rice where the players best days were clearly done.

I seriously have to roll my eyes that one of the headlines on ESPN.com is "Romo still can't win the big game".

Puh-lease.

He had many incomplete teams in the past (especially on defense). In this case however I think it's pretty clear that his body can't keep up with his football mind anymore which is a shame.

Losing your DC is gonna hurt that guy killed it with that defense.
Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray, Rolando McClain, Bruce Carter, Justin Durant, Ron Leary, Henry Melton, etc. We also have to make a decision about Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne and Sean Lee, I imagine.

I'm very intrigued to see what kind of deal DeMarco Murray gets. I can't even remember the last time a top-tier running back in their prime hit free agency. Usually their team will either lock them up before free agency or franchise them, but Dallas is going to have to use the franchise tag on Dez so DeMarco should be unrestricted. However, with the way the league has moved toward an emphasis on passing and so many teams succeeding with cheap late round backs there might not be many teams willing to give big deals to DeMarco, and a lack of suitors could lead to a smaller deal than expected.

I'm no Dallas fan, but have grown to like Romo...and I agree about rolling the eyes at that headline.

I think Murray is going to the colts. They will offer him the most money but he gets like a 5 year 35 million dollar deal. As for the colts beating pats of course the media is gonna say the pats are gonna win they have beat luck 3 times by an average of 20 points! Just like your gonna here how the pack got smoked by the seahawks week 1. I'm also a pats fan so I don't mind it.

i said yesterday....i'm not very optimistic about our chances in Seattle....but how awesome would it be to see Green Bay take down Seattle on their home turf after getting railed in Week 1 while Rodgers has a bad leg??

Apparently Peyton played since Dec 14 with a torn right quad. Ouch.

I wonder if that was on the play where he threw a block to help CJ score from a few yards out? I was watching that game, and there was a lot of talk about Manning leaving the game with a thigh injury.

I think Rodgers has a great chance to win. Adams is a whole new weapon they didn't have week 1. So that changes everything but that defense has to stop the running back in Seattle you know Wilson.

No. It was apparently on a pass to Emmanuel Sanders.

here's the Superbowl for you..........Seattle's defense frustrating New England and 20 shots of Brady yelling F*CK as he walks off the field. Repeat 10x. Also his wife telling reporters that "My husband can't block and play quarterback at the same f*cking time!"

he made it all game. didn't take too many hits in the game....but enough.

he was limping down the field after the offense on big plays.

our offensive line will have to have the game of their lives to keep that defense off of him.

Lacy is going to have to bring his A-game.

and our defense is going to have to have their best game of the year.

On the "Completing the process of the catch" thingie, I keep wondering.

They say that number of steps doesn't matter. Well we've all seen those plays where a guy gets off-balance and never quite rights himself before falling to the ground.

If a guy catches the ball off-balance, and stumbles 10 yards or so never quite getting his balance, and then falls to the ground, is that still a no-catch?

No way Seattle has a great secondary but that front 7 isn't that great I mean the Ravens have a better front. And in the second half they were erased.

Plus seahawks biggest weakness stoping tight ends. Pats have the GRONK.

There saying dez didn't make a football move so he's just stumbling he doesn't have control of his body momentum is carrying him. I disagree I think his third step he lunges for the goal line and reaches out for it. Which I think is a football move.
