Nobody in the Midwest cares who the QB of the Cowboys is either. As someone actually in the Midwest, I can see that.

Show me one link that suggests the midwest cares who the Cowboys QB is or is even watching the Cowboys.

You realize that A LOT of ratings come from the East coast, right? Also, look at the teams that played in those highly rated games. It's largely East coast teams or Thanksgiving games.

If it matters….the only time I watched the Cowboys play this season was last Sunday.

How Dallas got the moniker of "America's Team" is beyond me.

I could give 2 sh!ts about Jerry or his team.

30,880,000 ne/gb
30,020,000 dal/sea
29,090,000 den/ne
28,510,000 det/gb
28,000,000 sf/dal
27,290,000 den/sea
26,980,000 nyg/dal
26,913,000 gb/sea
26,500,000 phi/gb
26,480,000 sf/sea

Even discounting thanksgiving games these were the top 10 most watched regular season games.

i count only 4 east coast teams & 16 non east coast teams.

As mentioned they generally are the most watched team each year.

Example sundays cowboys/packers game was the most watched 1:00 divisional playoff game ever.

Also the cheerleaders help too.

I guess I had previous year numbers, because top 2 were Washington/Dallas on the list I had pulled up.

Either way, I don't know of a single person in the Midwest that cares about anything other than who the Chiefs, Rams or Bears are playing. The only discussion I've ever had in person about the Cowboys QB was when I was comparing Alex Smith to Tony Romo (in that Romo might lose some games, but he's also going to win games.... Alex Smith does neither).

a 12 year old without a team of his own decided to write all 32 owners asking why he should choose their team to be his "lifetime" team. Only one responded
https://gma.yahoo.com/12-old-wrote-l...opstories.html

I wonder if this would work for 'beware' over in the NBA thread

It took the Panthers 2 weeks to respond, but it's only been 8 days for the AFC teams.

That's a good point. I'm sure he'll get a few more responses now. Still a great story, though. I'm glad I clicked the link.

If seahawks d takes down rodgers and brady in consecutive games for the title, time to put them up there as a historically great d

No one hit wonder
