And everyone but Indy knew that was a stupid trade (giving up a 1st round pick) back when it went down. Richardson was a bust at just over 3 YPC in Cleveland and there was no reason to think he'd improve with Indy. He's actually gotten even worse playing for the Colts. He's never had a carry of more than 27 yards in 4 NFL seasons.

I'm surprised it even went 27 yards, not as surprised as I am that Richardson was drafted in the 1st round.

As a Colts fan I'm glad that Richardson will most likely won't be back next season, while we do need a running game, he hasn't cut it.

As far as today game goes, I'm being realistic, they're not going to beat the Pats but I'm sure hoping so cause I want Rodgers vs Luck.

David Lee is not a bad QB coach, you can only do so much with Geno and Fitzpatrick. With the way that Whaley and Rex have danced around the Manuel questions, it is pretty clear that the QB is going to be addressed via trade, free agency, etc. Neither seem convinced Manuel is going to be the guy going forward. He's certainly going to be given a fair shake to win the job, but he is going to need to show considerable development.

Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin is a front-runner for the same position with the San Francisco 49ers, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Lane Kiffin helped Alabama go 12-2 this season.

Indianapolis Colts special assistant to the head coach Rob Chudzinski is also under consideration for the job, sources added.

Kiffin said last month that he wasn't going to leave Alabama.

"Yes. Definitely," Kiffin said in December, when asked if he would return to the Crimson Tide. "I think that we've still got a lot of stuff we can do better. We'll obviously be working with a new quarterback, and that will be exciting. We've done that before. To me, that's always exciting, the unknown. You've got a new quarterback to see if we can do this again, to see if we can perform really well."

This was Kiffin's first season as an assistant to coach Nick Saban. Kiffin is the former head coach of the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee and USC.

If Kiffin is hired by the 49ers, it will mark his return to the NFL and the Bay Area after being fired by the Raiders in 2008. Late owner Al Davis blasted him in an unprecedented news conference, saying the coach "disgraced" the organization.

The 49ers hired Jim Tomsula as their new head coach this past week.

Some of that money is retro pay for winning a Championship, and most likely, going to another one...and on what ~$600k/season. Quite a bargain Seattle got, so now they will have to pay up.
