Wasn't it damn cold when they played the Colts?
Wouldn't the air pressure drop in the footballs due to physics, anyway?

It'll be 25,000 fine and prob a 6th round pick but because of Ray rice it might end up being a 2-3 round pick.

This just creates the fire. Us against the world which is fine I could careless what happens won't deflate my happiness to watch Tom with the lombardi again.

They may very well beat the Seahawks, but it doesn't change the fact that this is some shady dealings. This is going to be talked about for quite some time.

Can someone explain to me how the league makes this an issue to begin with?

Why are the teams responsible for preparing the game day footballs? Why 12 footballs a team? Why the separation? Why one set of footballs for each respective team instead of one giant set of 24 for both teams, for the entire game?

Before all this scandal, I just assumed that the league officials brought in and maintained the game balls. You know, that unbiased third party thing.

And the only reason this stays around will be jealousy of the Patriots cause guess what, we are three months from the great Ray rice scandal. And no one is saying anything anymore it's a domestic violence ad were no one talks!

No every QB likes there ball there way. Most of the teams custom make balls so each team brings 12 balls cause they've been crafted for the liking of the QB. Only rules are they have to be a Wilson ball and be a certain length and weight.

Okay, I can sorta buy that, but that seems different from other sports, no? Did Jordan get to choose his basketball during the timeouts when the Bulls were coming back on the court with possession?

And by that slight "customization" leeway, they've opened up a whole other bag of worms. Quite frankly, knowing they give an inch, the (so far alleged) mile doesn't seem as far now.

Eli manning did an interview I think they spend like 10 months making his footballs.

That's insane! Here, all along, I thought these cats were playing on a totally level field. I mean, isn't part of the game adapting to the field and equipment you're handed?

No biggie, but I'm surprised of the lax standards.

Sidenote: It's very interesting that NFL.com doesn't seem to have the report up on their site yet. The NFL is usually fast to post these stories, even when said stories aren't flattering to the company image. I would have to think that this investigation has a ways to go then....

The NFL doesn't have it up cause the investigation is still on going some guy leaked the information. I gotta say after the pats thing find the NFL leak. I don't think the deflated football means anything it's gonna be one of those things were people are like yeah we did it but no one says anything. Until your getting boned (hard) in the AFC championship and you go screw this I'm telling. Then they change the ball out at half time and you get boned (even harder).

Also dont change the facts that the Pats gave all 12 balls to the officials 2.5 hours before the game and part of the process is the officials check the pressure of the balls. If they were under-inflated why did the officials not say something then

Adding on to conspiracy theories, now you have Raven players calling foul.

But wait! The kicking balls aren't provided by either team, only the officials, so is it a case of bitter opportunistic Ravens players trying to dogpile fabrications onto this recent investigation, Ravens players just being sincerely delusional, or.....put on your tin foil hats....the league itself up to tomfoolery?!

NFL jasnt said whos fault it is because they dont know. Was it the refs before? Pats? And its going to be damm hard for them to find out. I just love how people presume guilty until otherwise..if this was the Titans like earlier in year no one would give a rats ass

When a previously convicted thief is accused of robbing someone someone tend to assume he's guilty due to prior actions. Same deal here. You are what you consistently do.

Jamie Collins and Darelle Revis didn't seem to be too concerned about the air pressure in the balls they intercepted?
